will we ever get any candidates that we actually want?
The best ones are the ones the Liberal Media hates or ignores...

I think it's all a puppet show. Even if the ideal person shows up and somehow gets elected, he will be undercut by within and not be able to get much done. They keep offering new puppets every 4 years while both parties and all the wealthy keep milking working people for all they are worth. And the milkees think they are making important progress by being able to choose their gender or some such nonsense.

Seems pretty clear to me that this particular bus is headed for the cliff no matter who is in the driver's seat.

I agree.

Now tell that to some of these crazies who are spouting otherwise - though they get a lot more press for this nonsense than they deserve, imo.

Actually, thatโ€™s one reason why we have so much polarization and tribalism in todayโ€™s political climate. The media - left, right, mainstream, social, ALL of it - amplifies the whackos and edge cases. Hey - it gets a lot of viewer attention which makes the advertisers happy, but at the cost of rational discourse..

But it appears SATAN may have no no such qualms with interfering!

At least that's what a couple of popular evangelicals seem to suggest.
During his November 21 interview with Graham, Metaxas, a Salem Radio Network talk-show host, asked the son of the late evangelist Billy Graham, โ€œWhat do you think of what is happening now? I mean, itโ€™s a very bizarre situation to be living in a country where some people seem to exist to undermine the president of the United States. It's just a bizarre time for most Americans.โ€
Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelical Association, responded, โ€œWell, I believe itโ€™s almost a demonic power that is tryingโ€”โ€

At which point Metaxas interjected, โ€œI would disagree. Itโ€™s not almost demonic. You know and I know, at the heart, itโ€™s a spiritual battle.

Since 90-95% of the Media is Liberal, it's really easy to calculate where the vast majority of whackos and edge cases are!

 • The Met Police have named the London Bridge terrorist as Usman Khan, 28
 • The knife-wielding terrorist had been released from prison in December 2018
 • He was jailed for a minimum of eight years having been convicted of terrorism
 • Police have raided an address in Staffordshire linked to the slain terrorist

This is unbelievable. The Jihadi shot dead on
#LondonBridge was not only a convicted terrorist who had been released on a tag but he was a guest of a Cambridge University sponsored conference in London today on โ€œprisoner rehabilitationโ€. You just couldnโ€™t make this stuff up!

I wasnโ€™t assigning blame, just pointing out relevance.. Putinโ€™s โ€œfaultโ€ ultimately. He would like to get the former USSR back together and regain its former power. (And acquire more assets for him and his oligarch mobster buddies.)
The more Putin can convince or coerce the US to step back, the easier for him to step in.

Crimea - Russia took advantage of the chaos in Ukraine after the corrupt Russia-friendly Yanukovich was removed. (He fled to Russia.) Russian military moved in, took over the Crimean parliament, captured some key cities, installed a pro-Russia government. They held a dodgy (and some say illegal) referendum which declared Crimea independent. After which Russia incorporated it as part of Russia.

You weren't assigning blame yet you stuck there GOP in there. It was the DNC who gave their buddy and best customer the opportunity to begin his actions and failed terribly to control the dog after.
