You keep posting that, except Biden is your basic moderate. Klobuchar is a moderate. Weren't you a Beto fan earlier in the thread? Biden/Klobuchar are more moderate than he is.

I think O'Rourke is very interesting, I like some of his ideals, the wife and drove to Austin and attended one of his speaking engagements, It was a good and educational experience. I think he tried to move up the Democratic food chain to fast and that is what has hurt him.

Biden will have to roll with the "New" status quo of the party if he is to stay in, although i agree Joe is moderate, I feel he will be pushed into the same situation as Pelosi, a situation i believe Pelosi did not want to have to be in. Pelosi has done a good job throughout her tenure in Washington, times have changed drastically for the party.

Yeah, it'll be interesting. Biden is not going to excite the left with his nomination. I like Klobuchar but she's very moderate. I know he wants a female. Warren and him are too far apart on issues. Could he go for a Stacey Abrams? First black woman VP?

Stacey Abrams Says She’s Open to Being Vice President for Any Democratic Nominee
Ms. Abrams, who announced this week that she would not run for president, told The New York Times that she would be “honored to be considered” for vice president.
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/14/us/politics/stacey-abrams-vice-president.html

We shall see. I think at the end of the day, once somebody gets the official nod, the Dems should fall in line, the money should flow etc. Maybe Biden doesn't excite people and then it's a very simple, would you really rather have Trump another 4 years? I think that's a no from Dems.

So right now, it's pointing to Biden. So the question is, who would be the best VP for him?

I absolutely believe Joe Biden could come in and hit the ground running, he knows his stuff and is very good at what he does.

Would i rather i have Trump for four more years, that is a very complicated question. this has been very very hard on our country in general, the division, the hate, I would like to see Americans unite, Our country continue to prosper for the people while Washington's elected do their jobs on behalf of the citizens. I feel anything aside from a complete Democracy is a very dangerous journey for our country, one i am not willing take. the stakes are simply to high. I feel the Democratic party is leaning way in favor of a new different kind of government, perhaps a socialism of the country. with all that said, it is not Donald Trump i am voting for, it is the democracy, the constitution and the freedom of the country i am voting for.

I think he saw this as striking while the iron was hot. This is a pivotal moment in US politics, and people who would be lucky to get a visitor's pass to the White House in the past now have a shot at being president - no qualifications needed. Anybody but the status quo, though they will hang in and have a shot between the radicals. Look at Greece, Venezuela, etc. for the roadmap.

The day will come that Enlytend will be fondly remembering that moderate President Trump.

Getting booed at the World Series, now getting booed at MMA:

Not true. Overwhelmingly positive response.

Inside Madison Square Garden right now Trump is getting booed. And outside the crowd is chanting: “LOCK HIM UP!”

This is a guy is definitely a UFC fan, not a resistance beta. :xf.rolleyes:

I guess he'll spend the rest of his years holed up at Mar A Lago if he wants to escape that kind of thing.

Not really.

Our constitution is an inspired and remarkable document that constrains the Government, not the governed. Barack Obama was a relative nobody but won because he inspired a lot of people.

Corporate media helped Trump in the republican primary because they thought Hillary could beat him. Hillary lost because she believed it too. Hillary avoided the press, scoffed at accusations of corruption, DIDN'T campaign in swing states like WI.

Trump wasn't a genius, Hillary was awful and America chose the lesser of two evils We chose well because Trump has done a good job despite the resistance.

Trump's legacy will be confirming more (sane) judges than any other president, breaking up activist courts like the 9th circuit and preserving our constitutional rights for another generation.

The move to the radical left by democrats and Trump's solution based policies are why he will win again. If Warren or Sanders is elected, expect the stock market to crash and a recession.

Abrams has 100 excuses why she lost her last race, none of them her fault. People are used to black democrats blaming everything on racism; it was a novelty for Beto.

Two-thirds of the money Abrams raised from named contributors came from out-of-state donors. - Just like Beto, Abras is a vanity candidate that couldn't get elected in her own state.

I'm surprised Biden is still in the race; that's how bad the democrat lineup is. Maybe Amy Klobuchar but she has problems too.

Theatres will BAN the phrase 'ladies and gentlemen' under new guildelines from actors' union Equity
  • New Equity guidelines advise theatres against using 'ladies and gentleman'
  • LGBT campaigners say the phrase excludes people who don't identify as either
  • Guide also advises against compliments on 'appearance, voice or being brave'
  • Many theatres pledged 'to create environment welcoming trans people'
Audiences will no longer hear the words, 'ladies and gentlemen', while performers should not have 'backhanded compliments' or be described as 'brave', under new gender-neutral guidelines from actors' union, Equity.

Published last week, the advice is aimed at people and venues working with LGBT performers.

Campaigners for LGBT rights say that such phrases as 'ladies and gentlemen' exclude people who do not identify as male or female, but rather as non-binary, such as singer Sam Smith.

How can a small minority dictate what the vast majority should or shouldn't do. Fuck these LGBT jackasses. Send them and their Liberal supporters into mental institutions specifically made for them! They are the ones that should be banned from society... Lock them up!

Actually I made a big mistake. It's NOT a "small" minority.

I should have said: Its an "extremely minute" minority

Because we let them. Refuse to call transwomen women, transmen men. Use he / she exclusively. Most of the woke work dies because no-one wants to see it.

Thee guys don't even try to hide it anymore - they brag about the secret police being the real people who run the country. He goes on to say Trump, a democratically elected leader, would be stupid to take them on. He may be right, but it's a crime of cowardice not to.

I have never seen a nation of people so in love with their oppressors.

Well, after he said it, there was even more booing. This guy just got punched and kicked in the head, probably some some chokeholds, loss of oxygen to the brain, then rambled on incoherently. I guess that's what it takes to support Trump.
