She is BINO, Bronx in name only.

So she was born there, her dad was born there, lived there, has family that lives there, she moved back there and worked as Educational Director but..........she's Bino. But you still believe Obama was born in Africa, so..
Because they never got the whole border walled up and they sure as hell don't want Trump to build one!

Just ask the Israelis and the Hungarians (to name a few) how their walls worked out?

Oh BTW, did you know that most of the Vatican has a wall around it that varies from 10-20 metres high?

And you're talking about walls elsewhere, when we have examples here in the U.S. mr-x posted not 1 but 2 articles in one post that backfired on him. One talked about how after the wall, it did go down, but then started going back up, almost tripling in a few years.

Walls are cool. but outdated in this day in time.

But there are Democrats and Republicans alike, that did naughta to rectify the illegal immigration problem. or at least it appears none did nothing, look at the cluster fuck of a problem we have.

Can anyone tell me why, or give an explanation as to why the illegal immigration problem wasn't corrected through

Lyndon Johnson
Richard Nixon
Gerald Ford
Jimmy Carter
Ronald Reagan
George H. W. Bush
Bill Clinton
George W. Bush
Barack Obama

?????????????????????

Help me out here

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immigration_Reform_and_Control_Act_of_1986

Reagan gave them Amnesty. Then Congress with no political will f*cked up and didnt put in employer sanctions.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...it-work/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.ccbfd081ccf3

Why were the employer restrictions so ineffective? During the debate in Congress, the bill's sponsors ended up watering down the sanctions on employers to attract support from the business community, explains Wayne Cornelius of the Center for Comparative Immigration Studies at U.C. San Diego. "The end result was that they essentially gutted the employer sanctions," he says.

Under the final law, all employers had to do to avoid sanctions was to make sure their workers had paperwork that "reasonably appears on its face to be genuine." If the documents were decent fakes, that wasn't the boss's problem. In fact, employers were actually penalized if they scrutinized a worker's nationality too aggressively.

What's more, industries such as agriculture, construction and landscaping often skirted the paperwork rules by relying on contractors and subcontractors. That made it easier for companies to maintain plausible deniability. In California, up to 80 percent of seasonal harvesting is done through contractors โ€” and unauthorized immigrants are thought to make up a massive portion of the workforce.

So in a sense, Washington and greedy fucks pretty much fucked us over. It didn't matter rather it was Jimmy Carter or Ronald Reagan, no one made a valiant effort to stop the illegal immigration. Now here we sit. trying to figure out how we can stop illegal border crossing and immigrants that fail to follow the law and apply for a renewal or extension of their visa, because they didn't see any need to do so, after all. no one would fuck with them over it.

She is BINO, Bronx in name only.

6% of her donations were from her district.

And she was funded like rest of these corrupt politicians from outside her district. Out of state donors like Hollywood and San Francisco.

https://www.opensecrets.org/news/20...ted-by-out-of-state-donors-after-primary-win/

โ€œAbout 6 percent of Ocasio-Cortezโ€™s itemized contributions have come from the 14th Congressional District, which includes parts of Queens and the Bronx in New York City.โ€

โ€œOf Ocasio-Cortezโ€™s itemized donations that OpenSecrets could analyze by geographic location, about 55 percent have come from contributors outside New York state this election cycle. Donors in California contributed almost $52,000 to her campaign in June, making the Golden State the largest source of out-of-state funds last month.โ€œ

So she was elected by the CA donors out of state and Manhattan. Lol.

Raised $2,000,000. No PAC money. Lol.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D) โ€ข Winner $2,014,746 $1,562,487 $403,544 11/26/2018

https://www.opensecrets.org/races/summary?cycle=2018&id=NY14

I think I will run for something, screw it, who cares what it is. local state or gov, then I can really retire while making a shit load of money. alls I have to do is get the funding, talk shit and blow smoke up peoples asses, what a suck life man.

Border patrol agents keep saying walls work. They are low tech. They work. They can't be turned off.
Surely, the border fences 'work' at their own personal, narrow level. That is within a radius of one mile perhaps, after that it's not their problem - it's another jurisdiction.

Unfortunately, mankind already has a long history of building walls and History has taught us a few things: walls must be manned to be effective. As exemplified by the Berlin wall or the Siegfried Line. This is where it gets expensive.

Because anybody can climb/bypass a wall with proper equipment, even if it is tall and electrified. When they jump onto the other side, cameras and sensors will not stop them. Technology will digitally capture the event of trespassing, but will not intercept a human body in quick motion.

But since a huge chunk (possibly 50%) of illegal immigration actually consists of visa overstayers (people entering the country legally), it's obvious a wall is not the solution.

Looking for simplistic solutions to complex problems is bound to fail.

You've just heard border patrol say walls work. Reduction in crime at the border in San Diego, California, New Mexico and Texas prove they work. Strategic placement of a permanent barrier, human patrols and technology will be used to secure the border.

RE; the false narrative of visa overstays; How do you know 50% of illegal immigration is from visa overstays if you don't even know how many people come to the USA illegally?

It's amazing to watch liberals argue we should do nothing because walls are stupid, immoral and don't work. Just drop the pretense and argue for open borders.

The cluelessness continues

just double the recent estimate from DHS. I guess your Google is broken?

"There were 12.1 million immigrants living in the country illegally as of January 2014, according to the most recent estimate from the Department of Homeland Security."

First day of democrat leadership in the house:

1) Nancy ( thankfully ) doesn't read the last TWO pages of her speech, declares she is as powerful as President Trump.

2) Bill to impeach the President

3) Abortion funding for the U.N.

4) Cute video of OAC in high school dancing with friends to breakfast club music breaks the Internet.

FWIW, She was born in the Bronx, family is there, she went back there - who cares where she lived in high school?

I donโ€™t agree with all of her positions and I think she should focus on learning her job instead of running in with guns ablaze, but the hostility of the right towards her is ridiculous and reeks strangely of fear...

The outside money coming in was stirred up by the Bernie folks . They see her as much needed โ€œyoung bloodโ€ and theyโ€™re using her. Female and Latina to boot? Trifecta! Theyโ€™re pandering to her ego and sheโ€™s naive enough to play along.

LMAO at people trying to discredit her with that video clip. A millennial paying homage to Breakfast Club? Who has friends and can dance? Oh the horror - weโ€™re doomed for sure. LOL.

PS You really want to shut her up, chill out and stop attacking her - that only gives her more airtime. Just ignore her.

What I wrote; she made a cute video with her friends in high school and broke the Internet. That's a compliment.

FWIW: If she didn't lie about being from the Bronx, she wouldn't have had to change the bio on her website.

Exactly; nothing matters but the narrative. No matter how shameless the lie. Bernie Sanders is no better.

Heard an interesting theory; Sen. Warren is running as a spoiler for someone else but unsure for who. I'm thinking Beto "the fake hispanic" O'Rourke.

What???????? She went to Yorktown??????

You know she posts that right on her site?

"She ended up attending public school in Yorktownโ€”40 minutes north of her birthplace."

https://ocasio2018.com/about

Should stay off those low iq sites like Gateway Pundit. You act like this is some secret. Besides it being right on her site, on her Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexandria_Ocasio-Cortez

haha, photos of her going to the high school she said she went to on her site.

"her family moved away from New York City when she was 5 years old. They moved about an hour north to the ritzy suburb of Yorktown Heights in Westchester County, one of the wealthiest counties in the U.S."

I guess "from the bronx" means white suburb in democrat. I wonder if there's a difference between a public high school in a rich suburb and the Bronx.

The shit people will argue about.

"Ocasio-Cortez was 2 years old when her father, Sergio Ocasio-Roman, bought a modest home in Yorktown for $150,000. The family lived in the Parkchester section of the Bronx at the time and moved to the house in Yorktown a few years later.

Her father died in September 2008, just as she was starting her sophomore year at Boston University."

I guess typical, privledged middle class childhood doesn't sound as good as "girl from the bronx".

FWIW, Yorktown Heights is the "cheap seats" of Westchester county. Middle class, not Scarsdale.

And depending on what you have, Bronx isn't necessarily cheap. An apartment, yeah, but a house will run you 400K-600K average.

Difference between that and Yorktown Hts is in Westchester you'll have a yard.

Thanks that article. I looked both at the spanish and english versions on her about page to see the difference, but not that much. The โ€œlucha por trabajadorasโ€ crap has been used for years, probably a century by socialists- communist china and marxist USSR โ€œworkers partyโ€ crapolla. Failed all.

And the democrats donโ€™t like Trumps name calling? Yet they elect this person?
Now this lovely news video piece. POS x10 was Elected? Someone whose โ€œpeopleโ€ come from real blood and ancient hate. They advocate throwing out Israel and are proud of terrorism. Class act alright. Sharia law next.

Now this new Jihadist today with her vulgarity. (She says: โ€œyou canโ€™t take the palestinian out of meโ€) the without any class, or decorum she says impeach, but in worse tone than mad maxine.

As the saying goes with radicals, โ€œYou can take the monkey out of the jungle, but you canโ€™t take the jungle out of the monkeyโ€. Radical democratic socialists like this if not stopped in a few years will only increase and ruin America. This is the new Democratic Party and how it is going to look. Left extreme and jihad of a christian based constitution and society. Her 1st ammendment rights do apply however.
