Here's the police body cam footage of the woman arrested on the beach in New Jersey this weekend, and as expected, she got off easy, in my opinion. This is the epitome' of resisting arrest and the cops applied the same amount of force shown to them. A real class act, that mother is!

I saw the footage, but a longer version and I have to say that the cops were there to get her. They asked her to take a breathalizer and not satisfied asked for another, which she did voluntarily without contesting them. Then they asked for her name + phone number. Pure harassment by those cops. After that she just lost her cool, started swearing like a sailor and then things went downhill from then on.

Those cops are intolerant and were just looking to make an arrest. Highly disapointed in them. Did those two cops really need to punch her? Surely they are trained to quickly neutralize a small woman... Makes them look like a bunch of bullies...

The bodycam does NOT show her kicking one of them in the groin and doesn't show the cop punching her.

Much as I’m not a fan of the K family, that Post cover (though I admit it’s pretty funny) was uncalled for and disrespectful. She’s a private citizen (albeit an overprivileged one) who got a chance to discuss some concerns. I hope the post gave more coverage to the topics discussed in the article!

I don’t want (more) professional celebrities dictating US policy, but no need to diss her concerns by making it into a big butt joke (although both participants of that meeting have sizable derrières.)

ERA amendment in IL - glad that it passed but why did people even vote against it? It’s literally about disallowing discrimination against women.

When the police ask your name for a reason, i.e. minor with a bottle of alcohol, you have to give it to them. If her Aunt was at the beach, she could have handed the phone to the police, done.

Cop just lost his temper. Would have been better for all involved if she had cooperated.

Agreed, and I'm not a fan of that either. But if it was Kanye, would they be making jokes about his appearance? Maybe, but I'd say less likely. Two different issues.

Look, overzealous cops can inflame any situation. But it was this woman who actually escalated the situation. And my personal opinion is that U.S. laws of 21 year old drinking age is ridiculous as most of the world is 18, and some countries like Italy, don't really care how old you are. New Jersey is also one of the only U.S states with strict no alcohol on the beach policies, another stupid over reaching government law. I can drink on the beach in the Outer Banks of North Carolina but I can be ticketed or arrested for having a beer in a solo cup on the beach in NJ. Ridiculous! But my opinion aside on the laws, the law is the law, and she got busted breaking it. She was underage (20), had alcohol in her possession on a NJ beach. The inconclusive breathalyzer aside, she then lied to the cop that it was her invisible aunt's alcohol, then after cursing at the cops, and then refusing to provide identification so she could be issued a summons, she gave the cops no other option than to arrest her. He was doing his job! He could not, at that point, let it go, as I believe he would have if the mysterious aunt of age 21 or above would have materialized to say the unopened alcohol was hers. Then when the uncooperative, lying, belligerent lunatic begins to run away then shoves (assault by the way) the approaching officer, spits at and kicks at, resisting all the cops, all bets are off. I am surprised at you GILSAN that, even after seeing all three videos (witness, 2 police bodycam) that you think the police were intolerent! She got exactly what she deserved, and if my wife, daughter or sister was that women I would tell them all the same thing, "You got what you deserved!" But my wife, daughter or sister would never find themselves in that situation, thank goodness!

When those 2 cops arrived at the beach, what did they find; A riot? A fight? Someone stealing someone's bag? Someone drinking booze openly at the beach? Someone causing disturbances?

NO.... they found none of the above. All these cops did was disturb the peacefull scenario of a beach with people enjoying their holiday. They just decided to randomly pick on a young woman that was doing nothing wrong.

Twice they asked her for a breathalizer. Both times came out negative. Why the fu*k continue harassing her? This whole incident was the cops fault, by provoking someone that was doing no wrong and who now will face criminal charges for God knows what.

I lived in California for 7 years, mostly in LA from the mid 70's to the early 80's and every weekend we went to the crowded beaches of Santa Monica, Venice and others and not once did I ever see cops in the beach.

Cops need to learn to show a little humanity and they need to be out looking for criminals not harassing people in a peacefull beach.

They are abusing their authority and subsequently creating animosity and hatred from many people towards them which is unfair to the majority of cops that that are good people. These bad apples need to be removed...

If it wasn't for someone filming it, we would never have known how these big bully cops beat up a little 20 year old girl. I have a lot of respect for American cops, but not for these 2 bullies...
