Since when does a lack of experience immediately disqualify anyone from a job. If Trump thinks he's up for the task then he probably will be. This guy got into an internal power struggle with Obama's former White House physician, so he may have made a few enemies along the way. I'm surprised you don't like him since he was one of Obama's boys! Don't you ever get tired of the "Witch Hunt of the Week" or does that not ever get old to you?

Its foolish to make 80 year old war heroes have to drive 4 hours each way to get seen at their closest VA Hospital. Makes almost no sense what so ever!

It's called a promotion, and good business owners are constantly promoting great people and great employees to higher positions, that maybe they don't currently have the experience for, but have confidence that they can get the job done. The VA system is severely broken. I read the Omnibus VA budget and Fed Pay website... huge overhead, and no idea wtf so many VA Doctors are even doing in DC making $300-$400k. What are they Swamp Doctors?

Doctors are having a tough time making a living thanks to idiotic socialistic medicine Obama imposed and insurance companies are the only ones making money. Two friends of mine are MD’s, its really messed up. So pushing to allow VA to private medical industry is great thing.
