@offthehandle Why do most college graduates seem to love liberal policies. I heard most voted for clinton in 2016. What's with these college grads?
p.s. Congrats, on your success in niche field..
I don’t believe critical thinking is a product of formal education. Nor do I think the educational process necessarily has bearing on political leanings. The education system has been skewed liberal, so of course more liberal thinkers are created.
It has more to do how you grew up, and your environment. I have no formal party affiliation, nor vote, just believe in common sense, and conservative views. Like a basic principle that works well in most of the world.
“You don’t work, so you don’t eat”.
The welfare state does not exist everywhere.
Entrepreneurs and Risk takers dropped out like Gates, Zuckerberg, Jobs, etc would never have entered the workforce as School teachers, one of the easiest non risk, security blanket type person needs. School teachers or Professors are usually low risk people. Just like making a career as an obscure Attorney in Government, easy job, guaranteed pay, etc. No need to start from scratch as a private practice attorney, learn how to run a business, market, hustle, get clients, hire, fire, manage employees and need to keep the lights on.
I really admire self employed Attorneys, its hard work. That guy working for Stormy is a hustler. He appears to be self made, knows how to work the media and communicates well. He is a risk taker, race car driver, business owner, etc. I don’t like what he is doing, but do admire his tenacity after reading his bio, except the questionable stuff, like non payment part of his various business deals and history.
Even like communication majors, that the Football players forced to go through the motions to play professional. Are they all liberal? Probably not.
