That memo is a controlled 'leak' of cherry-picked information, that serves only one purpose (or rather four at least):

• drum up support for an embattled administration
• discredit institutions
• to further divide America
• to deflect attention while an investigation is closing in on the Trump circle

It was not released in a quest for truth, but for political gain.
Remember, we have a president who has been at war against the justice, the free press, even his own administration (which opposed the release of the document).
Attacking institutions and sowing the seeds of division is the playbook of wannabe despots. Chavez was no different. Very predictable and time-proven script. Hopefully truth shall prevail. However you can lead a donkey to water, but you can't make it drink, or make it see the elephant in the room. Stay tuned for more.
