When has the Military every allowed someone with an ongoing medical problem enlist?

Being transgender != an "ongoing medical problem*." Transgendered people have served in combat and defended our country in the past and some are serving now. Like any other voluntary procedure, if they're going to go through reassignment it needs to be either be before or after their service, not during.

You have to take hormones for the rest of your life, I'd call that on-going. Pretty dumb argument when transgender advocates claim it's a medical condition.

Well, the poll said only 21% wanted him pardoned, and he failed in his reelection bid. So they spoke.

I think he just took advantage. All presidents dump bad news late Fridays. I think he saw this hurricane and said lets do it this Friday.

San Domenico officials told the Marin Independent Journal that their “strategic plan,” which includes removing the word “Catholic” from the school’s mission statement, has nothing to do with the events this month in Charlottesville or the wider controversy about historical monuments.

“People have a hard time with change,” San Domenico board of trustees chairwoman Amy Skewes-Cox said, denying the plan, which does not see the removal of all but 18 of the school’s 180 religious symbols as having anything to do with the campaign against Confederate monuments. “If you walk on the campus and the first thing you confront is three or four statues of St. Dominic or St. Francis, it could be alienating for that other religion, and we didn’t want to further that feeling.”

In one breath, you say TG should server in the military, regardless of decision made by professional leadership regarding their medical fitness.

I asked you about another, analogous law, that discriminates against homosexuals who want to donate blood, because of their medical fitness.
