While he was in the meeting, guess who sat in for him at G20? Ivanka. Unelected, inexperienced unqualified maker of knockoff designer shoes using cheap overseas labor, representing the US among world leaders. Totally normal. Can you imagine the uproar if Obama had sent Michelle or Malia to sub for him in a meeting like that?

Paranoia is imagining things that aren't happening. There's plenty of evidence of Russian electoral interference and active measures both here and in other democratic countries. You apparently choose not to believe that - that's your option. Mueller wouldn't be going to the trouble of assembling the group of heavy hitters he has so far over a nothingburger.

Collusion has yet to be publicly proven, but he's not doing anything to dispel the suspicions. On the contrary, in the last couple of days he's blatantly aligning with our main adversary, supporting their message, and dissing our Western allies, free press and security professionals.

Russia has been spying on the USA and other countries for tons of years. The USA has been spying on Russia and other countries for the same amount of time if not longer. If you want to name a winner in terms of spying, the the USA wins by a large margin.

So now the MSM discovered, after Hillary lost, that Russia has been meddling in the US. The main meddlers prior to, during and after the US elections has been the biased Fake Liberal Media who have spent all their resources, energies and influence into bringing Trump down. They are the ones that deserve to be investigated by Mueller.

RU has been trying to influence elections around the world for decades. So has the USA. President Obama openly sent his "A Team" to help defeat Prime Minister Netanyahu.

President Obama chose not to do anything about RU's actions. Why? B/C they were inconsequential.

Putin is a propaganda master for sure. He owned 43 and 44. 45 just agreed to ship LNG to Poland, publicly criticized RU for military action in Ukraine. Strategically, helping EU replace Natural Gas from RU.

So how do you both feel about the points made by the editorial in that conservative publication?

There was no grand scale electoral fraud. This is a witch hunt prompted by the guy who can't admit he lost the popular vote, even though he won the election. Elections are controlled by the states (don't republicans want to keep big government out of states business?) The information they wanted and the record of the person in charge of collecting it left a door wide open to abuse, like misusing it for political gain - voter targeting, gerrymandering, voter suppression...Red states were some of the first to say no the loudest. The cross matching? It's been tried, and was deemed impractical when it produced a lot of false positives .

PS you and Gil are the ones going on and on about the handshake - I just stuck that into my post to provoke you two a little. Apparently, it worked . Overreact much?
