Also, was curious from a religious standpoint, is this correct, the Bible says:

God “breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and it was then that the man became a living being.”

Doesn't the Bible say life begins when you come out of the womb and take your first breath? And are religious people trying to use Science instead of the Bible in regards to abortion?

The scripture you quoted was after God made Adam from dust not in the womb, so a lifeless body was created and God breathed life into him, there are a quite a few scriptures where King David said God formed him in the womb and knew him, There are some examples on the net of babies surviving being born before the 6 month cutoff where it is legal to abort them, and most doctors agree babies feel pain in the womb.
do a little research and get first hand testimonials from doctors and nurses who have had a change of heart
who were in the industry. I don't believe in condemning people who have had them just want to stop them in the future. I know a few women who told me years later they still live with guilt and depression from having it done.

I just think the Republicans need to put up somebody that is liberal on social issues.

I think, with the exception of abortion, social issues are almost entirely trivial when compared to the real problems facing the world. When everything is going fine, that's the time to make bathroom use a national discussion.

I agree the social conservatives are holding back the Republicans. Not because I disagree with all their ideas, but because I think politicians should have no role in that arena. Nothing worse than a corrupt pol telling everybody else how to be moral. The same goes for both sides, as the Dems are at least as strident in moralizing.

There will never be a pure libertarian government in the US, or anywhere. Pure anything gives you Pol Pot or ISIS. Just as there will never be pure capitalism, pure democracy or pure socialism. It's just a question of which way you prefer it to lean.

its probably 1 percent of abortions are for reasons explained above, but 1 million a year for convenience, I am all for contraception, abstinence, education etc.

The evangelicals are a big voting block for the republicans, but it wont matter if we don't get smart and stop losing the latino vote our party is finished, they are the fastest growing voting block in the country. Trumps overboard comments might work this election but from here on out it will destroy our party. Yes we need to build a wall, or mandantory e-verify to work in this country or both. But in addressing the present problem where most illegals have children who were born in this country offering permanent working papers, while paying a fine, and never receiving a vote or citizenship would have been a workable compromise, we have alienated a good percentage ofthem. He also couldhave worded it to say the house will remain republican and ifyou vote for senators we will finally get some reasonable reforms passed, if you elect Hillary nothing will get done with a republican house and a democratic president.
