Cops pulled her aside and between school officials and them accused the girl of passing fake money, you can go to jail, where did you get this fake money, blah blah.
Cops finally took the $2 bill to a bank and yes, there is a $2 bill, it is legal tender, and this is a genuine $2 bill.
Oh, sorry little girl, here is your $2 bill back and you can go.
Poor girl did not get her lunch!
Would love to see her family get a lawyer, or a lawyer contacts them, and sues the school and the cops!

Worth could be $2 to $5 or more.
I have some that are pristine and in plastic folders.

I have a 1976 2 dollar bill I got when I was a kid. I think it was only a bicentennial printing. The 1950's $2 bills were impossible to get in circulation from the 1970's and on. So this was definitely pulled from a collection.

May have come from a collection, but hey, even today one finds the odd silver coin, etal.
Nothing is impossible when you take into account the USA money in circulation throughout the world.

from 1963 to today, any $2 bill printed is worth at most.....$2
