That LA bank robbery some 10 years ago made the LA police look very under equipped Maybe the the launchers can be used as tear gas launchers. Tear gas does not kill people and I think that's in vogue now. A mine resistant vehicle can be useful, even scar the crap out of the bad guy to give up.

I guess they tested them and decided the grenade launcher wont work with tear gas canisters lol

See, he didn't say, "Simon says get your license", so obviously the police officer is the victim here.

Seriously, though, I think it was the 3rd or 4th shot that hit him, and he had his hands in the air at that time.

The shooting is bad enough, but the crap the cop does after the shooting is pretty revolting. I can't believe he has to ask if the guy was hit. He fired multiple times from just about point blank range, especially the last two when the guy was facing him with hands up. The guy's got at least one hole in him and the cop is asking for ID and stuff like it was still a traffic violation. I don't know if the cop was in shock or what, but he seems to have no idea if he hit him, shows no interest where his misses went and doesn't seem to care that he just shot a guy for nothing. And when the cop tells the guy he pulled him over for a seat belt violation, that took the cake.

Now, see, there's a couple things about torture that I want to point out. First, if someone wants to poke me in the eyeball with a semi molten iron rod, I will be happy to tell them everything instead. I will tell them my entire family history, if that's what they want. No problem. So, I guess I would make a terrible bad guy, because apparently bad guys never rat out other bad guys when pressured to do so. Riiiiiggggght.

Second, I'm pretty much okay with the CIA waterboarding known terrorists for as long as they want to. I'm not overly concerned about them asking any questions, either.

Although I understand how you feel (based on what you wrote), I don't think torture for torture's sake, or for some kind of payback, is the way to go.
