There is only one preacher running for the office,
Bishop Romney, me thinks.
I never cared for the Christian preachers in politics. Why would I care for the Mormon one?
Same sh!t. Prob. even worse.

Yeah, it is kind of sketchy:

"Mormons trace their origins to the visions that Joseph Smith reported having in the early 1820s while living in upstate New York. In 1823 Smith said an angel directed him to a buried book written on golden plates containing the religious history of an ancient people."

And old Joe having several wives, polygamist. Nice foundation to build a religion on.

Not even 200 years old. Imagine that happening today. Somebody out there seeing things, visions, and they're talking to them, telling them to go look for buried books and stuff. Kind of coo coo isn't it.

Haha, I was going to say something about the media need to find out about Romney's other wives. Figured there has to be somebody out there that made a YouTube video about it and sure enough. If there was a real liberal media, we would be investigating this. He must be hiding them in all these other countries he's hiding his money in. The conservative mainstream media sure went after Obama's preacher and his church but won't touch Romney.

It's a sign:

2012 Republican Convention
Hurricane impending, Republicans cancel first day of convention

2008 Republican Convention
"With the landfall of Hurricane Gustav on the U.S. Gulf Coast, the White House canceled the planned appearances of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. Governors Bobby Jindal of Louisiana and Rick Perry of Texas skipped the convention to remain in their states during the hurricane's landfall. The Monday, September 1, 2008, schedule was compressed to two hours from seven. McCain called on the party to reduce partisan activities ahead of the hurricane's arrival"

Somebody or something out there is throwing hurricanes at Republicans.

So were is the racist, felonist pig Romney hiding his other wives and his black slaves? I'm amazed the Liberal Media hasn't found out yet, or are they gonna surprise us with some earth shattering news, or should I say LIES, a couple of weeks before election day?.

Even if they do find them wives and slaves, I'll bet Mitt will never be able to catch up to South Africa's President, Jacob Zuma who married his sixth wife 4 months ago. When he came into office less than 3 years ago he only had 3 wives, so give him another term in office and he may reach a dozen.

How on earth this man has time to govern South Africa I'll never understand.

I thought Obama was born in Hawaii, but according to Michelle Obama he was born in Kenya. How confusing!

Maybe she was just lying about it. Seems to run in the family

I'm not even gonna bother talking about those wonderful friends of Obummer, the Reverends Wright, Jackson and Sharpton, who are everything except Men of God.

So according to JB Lions, the Gods are angry with the Republicans and have ordered mother nature to shoo em away from Florida.

Why Christians Who Support Romney Actually Violate Scripture

"Mormonism has already come a long way in accomplishing its goal of being accepted as a main stream religion compatible with Christianity. Those Christians who support Mitt Romney and who vote for him will only be partners in his evil deeds."

I support Ron Paul, He is the only person that makes a bit of sense in thinking IMO, Although i don't think he has snow balls chance in hell of winning, I have liked Ron Paul before the last election ever took place.

I see some very good posts in this thread, Then some very off the wall posts as well.

Unity by the US citizens will keep us free, I don't see that happening right now, I don't see it happening in the immediate future either.

Main political problem is the fact that both parties are complete delinquents when it comes to fighting the massive govt debt. Debt is like a toxic environment- nothing can survive in it. Its why Obama can't erase the "recession flu", or the stubbornly high unemployment. Whoever fights that debt helps the country...even if it hurts to fight the debt. It has to be paid sooner or later and if its not it will destroy whover it collapses on. There are very good reasons why any of us would sleep uncomfortably if we had massive debt on our heads.

Very good point.

We owe China so much money, Well, It will never get paid back. The recession has not changed because we insist spending billions of dollars on wars that are not justifiable. I could go on and on, But i will close with this, WTF are we spending money on the planet Mars for? We could very well be heading towards the worst economic crisis the US has ever seen, Yes, Worse the great depression. And we spend $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$'s on Fing Mars???

Ron Paul is my favorite as well, but the MSM plus a lot of dirty tricks and voter fraud has made sure he was put in quarantine... for good.

The 16 trillion $ Debt, the high unemployment, the sputtering economy, who cares, when there's so much BS to talk about.

Mormonism will be the next major subject to talk about, at least that's what JB Lions is itching for.

After that it'll be about Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

Mormon Bishop WTF his name, Mitt something, and his supporters, still think in terms of the Great Lilly White Society.
What they fail to see is that this is the last time the 'true white' folks will have anything to say. Period.

I actually don't care that he's a Mormon. The only time that kind of thing is an issue with me, is if they're the fundamentalist type. Examples I gave earlier that I would have a problem with, Bachmann, Santorum. Those two are nuts. An easy way and just one way to spot them is give them a simple question. I would love to see this live on TV. Dinosaurs, did they exist. If any of them say no. That should be an automatic disqualification because they've just shown they're mentally defective.

You want issues, ok. Let's pick one and see where people stand.

Israel wanting to bomb Iran now. Should we:

A. Support them, say ok, go ahead and do it, we'll support you, we're with you.

or

B. Try talking, negotiating, sanctions first. Exhaust every avenue first, before we even think about bombing.

Gilsan, or anybody else, which one are you rolling with?

I'm picking B.

That's what the US and other Western countries did during the 80-88 war, but Iraq got more weapons :)

Oh, they're already equipped, they don't need our help with that. They have one of the best air forces in the world.

Actually it appears that Egypt has deployed American supplied weapons on the Israeli border.... well that makes for interesting discussion.

Now that we're all democracies and all.

I will always pick B. But they've been having negotiations on and off for decades, but since Ahmadinejad has threatened to wipe Israel off the map on several occasions, by flexing their muscles with their missiles tests and their nuclear program, then I don't trust Iran or their neighbours so I'm 100% behind Israel if they decide to blast their nuclear facility to smithereens.

Egypt as you can see has been taken over by the Muslim Brotherhood, who hate Israel. Do you trust the MB? I certainly don't and neither does Israel

But let it be said that if Ron Paul was President of the US his foreign policy would be totally different from either Democrats or Republicans who are basically very similar in their Foreign policy.

Ron Paul would stop giving foreign aid to Israel, Egypt and most of the world. He would reduce the US military spending by Trillion $. He would get rid of hundreds of US bases throughout the world. All these policies would help diffuse the situation in the Middle East, though I doubt he would tolerate a massive attack by the Arab countries against Israel.

It's a tough situation but in any war between Arabs and Israel I would side with Israel. That's my position

"I will always pick B."

So on this issue, you're siding with Obama.

"Ahmadinejad has threatened to wipe Israel off the map on several occasions"

They're always threatening something. But do you think he would actually do that, wipe Israel off the map? I don't, because he knows what would happen, would not be good for him. North Korea used to threaten to wipe the U.S. off the map as well, we didn't strike because we knew it was just a threat, more for leverage, $$$.

"He would get rid of hundreds of US bases throughout the world"

This is another good topic, I just watched a documentary on this, what would happen if we removed ourselves, our bases from around the world, being the World's Policeman.

Part of me thinks we sometimes meddle where we shouldn't but a lot of good points were brought up. Cliff Notes version:

A. The U.S. basically saved Europe during World War 2.

B. Japan. They talked about over 70% of Japan being ok with us being there. Why? Because Japan is not a nuclear power, China is. We are.

C. Kuwait, sovereign nation, no military. Our ally, they have resources we use. Saddam attacked, wanted to get Saudi Arabia next. They wanted our help. Would it have been better to let Saddam run amuck?

D. Bosnian War/Kosovo - After the Holocaust and "Never Again" it was happening again. Ethnic cleansing. Nobody in Europe was doing anything about it, until the U.S. stepped in, after it was going on for a few years, then again with Kosovo. It's because while Europe might be united somewhat economically with the Euro, militarily they're just weak, they just talk to death but never get anything done. They don't have the budget, nor the will. There was supposed to be some united military force that would handle this type of stuff. But when things get poppin over there, it's the U.S. that handles it.

So the world would probably be worse off without the U.S. Countries might say they don't like it, until they need us.

This was the documentary, if you have Netflix, you can stream it - http://www.theworldwithoutus.com/

Obama has done nothing in regard to the Israel/Middle East conflict. Obama hasn't even visited Israel since he took office, but he did visit Egypt right away. One gets the impression that Obummer doesn't like Israel.

The North Korean situation is vastly different to the Middle East. Israel is surrounded by dozens of enemy countries, while North Korea has a very powerful ally next to them; China.

Do you realize that the US has aprox. 1100 bases in about 150 countries. Just in Germany alone they have close to 230! That's right; 230 bases.

The US can reduce their bases by at least 60%, save trillions of $, inject that money into the economy and still remain the most powerful nation in the world.

Ron Paul has the right idea, but the MSM, controlled by Big Business, Big Pharma and the Big Military Complex will make sure that he remains IRRELEVANT, which they've succeeded.
