The denial I see in the media (social and otherwise) about the USD losing reserve status is sad, but not surprising given the lack of even basic knowledge of history. Seems Americans really believe the dollar will always be king, and that the US will always be the dominant world leader.

Reminds of how they think they are free, even as they lose what few freedoms they have left - the TikTok charade being the latest and most egregious.
