It's one thing being upset, like I said, I wasn't happy when Trump beat Hillary. But what's happening with most Trumpers right now is straight craziness. A lot of lying, conspiracy stuff, fake graphics, again 2 people here posted that one yesterday.

you must remember ... after Trump won there were protests right away .. Antifa some what attended Trumps inauguration with protests outside the venue ...

I wouldnโ€™t expect a peaceful incoming of Biden ... itโ€™s not realistic ... we are way to far divided

She got BLOWN OUT; electorate NOT CLOSE

Trump being as close as he is; makes this
โ€œnon-Hillaryโ€ Plus cant picture someone more universally disliked than Hillary... Worst ever lol

Besides being an unfounded conspiracy, it undermines yet another one of the foundations of the country - the postal service.

Foundation of the country? If it is, no wonder the country is falling apart. Of course, Canada's PO seems even worse, so not much basis for comparison. While not among the worst postal services in the world (heavy competition there), they are hardly a source of pride.

but when we allow โ€œ Open Identity โ€œ me as Turtle should be as acceptable as me as women .... if not that would be discrimination? My point being ... there is no difference .... once we fray away from what we really are ... that allows us to be anything we want without conviction ... that takes us away from humanity and into another realm
You're oversimplifying and misconstruing the concept of gender.

You can't "identify" as a turtle because it's an entirely different species. Its a question of biology, not identity.

Gender is not a purely a biology issue. It's an expression of self. Of course biology can play into it since sex and gender often overlap or share some commonalities. But gender itself is not a biological concept as we were raised to believe.

I was born male. That is my biological sex. I identify as a man (he/him). That is my gender.

How do you know about the postal systems of the U.S. and Canada living in Japan?

I think Japan has the worst postal system in the world, easily.

I understand.... but I feel we are over complicating something that is so simple .. making problems that donโ€™t have to exist .. perhaps simply a sign of the times

Absolutely.... male - female - black - white - brown - yellow .... you just clean the brush off when you paint that as to not mix the paint on the picture
No, you were implying that people's desire to have a sex change is a casual want rather than an identity-drive need.

My response is: who are you to say why people want to have sex change surgery?

When we oversimplify, people get marginalized and left behind. The more complexities we, as a society, try to understand about the human brain and identity, the more all people can feel included in that society.

we also further ourselves from each other causing even more division ... life doesnโ€™t have to be that hard.

It's not.

Know what else isn't a serious issue in our society? People throwing squirrels at each other. Is it wrong? Heck ya!
I've no idea what that means... only that it must be a squirrel's worse nightmare if this happens!

If they want to have sex change surgery they obviously do not like the body they are in ... so they want to change the very being in which they were born ... if I donโ€™t like the color of my car I go get it painted a different color... but we are talking about the human anatomy here which is far different IMO

Trump is chipping away at the very foundation of confidence in the ability to deliver a public service. Perhaps the executive branch ought to use a private mail service to deliver mail-in votes. It's not a debate about whose mail system is better. It's about Trump claiming mail-in voter fraud.

Trumps lead down to 90,000 in Pennsylvania. Keeps shrinking. We may know Penn tonight.

340,000 mail in ballots outstanding.

Georgia lead down to 9,000 and shrinking.

Biden could get 306 Electoral votes if he holds Arizona and Nevada and then wins Penn and Georgia. I think Trump wins NC.

Why do our differences have to divide us? Now that is a choice we make.

I don't want to get too involved, mainly because these arguments descend into silliness. But your argument here makes no sense. Just as a species is a matter of biology, so is sex. Maybe gender, as you define it, is not, as it involves feelings. No reason someone can't feel like a turtle.. You are randomly assigning the rights to claim identity.

The more complexities we, as a society, try to understand about the human brain and identity, the more all people can feel included in that society.

Funny how the same people who will bend over backwards to include and understand the smallest minorities are completely unable to do the same for half of their fellow Americans who support Trump. If you can't understand such a common way of thinking, how can you claim to understand far less common issues of "identity?"

As a matter of priority, it seems obvious that you would seek to understand the largest group first.

Right. They were born one sex, but feel that they should be the other.

I see a lot of mental illness going intreated or even being worsened by trendy notions of "identity." Nobody is being helped by that.
