    Good you peeked, I'm surprised you even bothered to look at the disadvantages.

    It was basically a game show, made for TV with the Catchphrase - you're fired! We've seen alot of that recently. :xf.wink:

    Trump demands recounts that will cost taxpayers millions of dollars.

    Much of the money raised by Stepien and the Trump campaign won’t go towards challenging election results, however, but to help set the stage for the president’s next act.

    Trump’s insistence that there was voter fraud and demands for recounts are helping create post-election unity among his base, and raise money the president can use to keep his political career afloat after January.

    “He has always understood that money equals power, and now he wants to have a bunch of money and it’s going to give him a seat at the table. That’s what he’s doing,” said Richard Painter, White House ethics lawyer for George W. Bush.

    Regardless of what you call political criticism, their summary applies to all leaders:

    Good leaders:

    1. Unify and Don’t Divide.

    2. Achieve Results, But Limit Collateral Damage.

    3. Share the Leadership With Followers.

    4. Leave the Team, Organization, or Nation Better Off Than They Found It.

    The boiling frog fable is relevant. The attack is on the psyche of the nation by way of this new intersectionality paradigm by the Left.

    So no, unity is not possible without really basic principles such as equality before God and the Law, and a pride in being American, treating your compatriot by the content of their character etc..

    How do you expect unity with norms of racist ideology, bowing before the flag, race baiting under the auspices of 'systemic racism' and other such boogeymen ideologies. All these things are antithetical to 'unity' and instead square off a diverse peoples away from their unity as Americans in favor of immutable characteristics as the new era and a hierarchical reorganization, not on merit but by force.

    Unity is good as is a focus on American pride and the small things that can connect a diverse peoples. But if you think we are all born the same, have to feel perpetually 'bad' about divergent outcomes, rewrite history and have others dangle such matters over others in the jostle for the battle of group selection... Then you don't know how unity can be.

    Well I am a die hard optimist so I will enjoy your reasoning for the moment. Openly identifying as conservative is not so simple anymore although the conservative turnout this election has been encourageable. Still, most centers of influence in society embraced leftist ideology and are becoming further radicalized. It takes certain amount of understanding and courage to come out socially as conservative and I think that is more difficult for women than men. A single woman with children might easily vote left just because of the welfare system benefits and a stay at home married woman should in theory vote right to keep income taxes lower. In general I think the right attracts more sanity which is attractive in itself :)

    a little sexist humor this morning but you need to watch till the end for the full effect:)

    Although this is a US Political thread, I believe some basic principles do apply to leaders other than America, and lessons can be learned. It is difficult for outsiders to really grasp the psyche of American politics, and for this reason I have been intrigued. It's also interesting that while you undoubtedly have a deep understanding and a semantic command of our common language, commonly a failing of the Left, Trump's simple talk gets his point across without needing to be a scholar. :xf.wink:

    Not disadvantages, political opinion.

    It was a competition. Last person standing won a job. Not a lot of real business lessons or reality to be taken from a TV show.

    Uh-huh. Filtered through a political opinion of people who think harassing lawyers, doxing their kids is justified because the hate Trump.

    Trump will use the money as needed. The law allows him latitude to do that.

    Much less of a grifter than Joe Biden naming the richest, most powerful media people in the world part of his transition team and then begging for donations from the middle class.

    At least GW Bush had the decency to use money from the people he was going to represent.

    America is better off. We suffered a pandemic made worse by the political machinations of the media and democrats ( I'm repeating my self ).

    America used to be called an melting pot because anyone could immigrate and become an American, accepting American ideals.

    Now we have a bunch of entitled cry babies telling us America is racist to the core and needs to be replaced with marxism.

    Liberals used to love free speech and America.

    IMO that's what made America great, what used to be a strength, a common American Dream.

    It could also be a generational thing. The Me Generation, which kind of goes hand-in-hand with mask wearing (ie. protecting the wearer vs spreader). Fierce independence is a conflict between capitalism and socialism, although not mutually exclusive labels are applied. Tribal mentality also seems contradictory, especially when not all folks have their cookies in one basket, moderates demonstrate facets of both.

    Not diagnosing, just comparing and contrasting some learning points. Good leaders have to recognize and acknowledge both their strengths and weaknesses - you'll notice I also added strengths, no kudos for that? :xf.wink:

    The word Hate used twice in the same post? I'm not sure that's quite true, it may in fact be the perception of his followers and their reaction to the socio-political commentary that breeds discontent.

    "The New Normal" "Build Back Better" "The Great Reset". These are just happy sounding marketing terms they use to sell their Commie New World Order agenda to the general public.

    However it pans out, it's pretty clear that many Americans will now think that voting will not change anything. It's questionable if it ever did, but now looking clearer. What happens when you marginalize half of your population? You deny them media access, use what media there is to belittle them, and finally deny them even a fair vote.... They stay silent and fall into line as they see their lives getting worse?

    Don't think so. If there is not transparency, communication and respect for diverse opinions, things will eventually be settled with guns. This is not even speculation - it is inevitable the way things are going. If you want your subjects to shut-up and toe the line, you have to kill a few of them and create a state of fear.

    :xf.laugh: Domainace can't hold the Drama Queen back sometimes. It's inevitable if Japan keeps being a police state, the people will rise up and overthrow the people in power.

    We can say one thing for certain, Trump made waves. Perhaps not the kind we had hoped for, even still, and for dubious motivation. He possibly bit off more than he could chew and spit out the pieces of a fragmented society. :oops:

    What is it with you and Japan?
    They are more respectable country than China Which just made Prez Xi "President for Life"

    Also Blocked Wikipedia.org, Google and Facebook among many known ccp censors;

    @Domainace Can you go on your browser right now (without VPN)
    Are you able to access;
    Google, Wikipedia, and Facebook? among many American creations;
    Although Facebook is leftist (imo) i bet even "Parler.com" is banned China :xf.laugh:

    You're just like Biden, @JB Lions
    You ignore shady business dealings with the Communist (Not democratic) China; that has been emboldened to undermine us with BS Hong Kong Law (More BS than Japan: it's a scary law;despite "90%" Japan conviction rate; Nissan CEO

    By the way...
    Japan products = associated with quality;
    Chinese products = associated with rip off
    China is also the worst, abuse USA IP !!

    China is such a theocratic authoritarian state;
    they botched the ANT IPO; since the founder
    Ma; audacity to criticize China regulator laws
    "hinder innovation" antiquated among others;

    Democrats and Joe Biden love China; always turn a blind eye
    to go @ an unrelated US ally; i consider... even more important
    than even China! Viva la Japan! Their country doesnt have Communist stereotypes
