The way the Liberal Media are looking for Republican blood it's best to be careful for words.

Yeah - sticking to ... I dunno ... FACTS and vague, harmless rhetoric ... is usually a safe choice - lol.

As for the "War on Woman" crap, that's just bullshit Liberal Media Propaganda

The hell it is.

Abortion is only ONE issue. BTW the language of many of the anti-abortion proposals would also make certain forms of birth control illegal - the IUD for example, which prevents a fertilized egg from implanting. And some birth control pills too - the pill primarily suppresses ovulation, but some types prevent the fertilized egg from attaching in the event ovulation does occur. If it can't implant, the zygote or embroyo (that's the scientific term for a fertilized egg - before and after the cells start to multiply - not "baby") "dies." (Now you guys know more about women's health than Todd Akin. Isn't this thread educational :)?)

It's strange that if you kill a baby one minute after it's born its called murder, but if you kill that same baby before its born, its legal.

It's strange to me that a group would campaign so doggedly for fetal rights from the instant a fertilized egg subdivides to ensure that every conception results in a birth (even if the baby is the product of rape/incest, will be born to parents who can't afford to raise it, or has a genetic deformity - is going to be severely handicapped and live a short, miserable and very costly existence), yet that same group wants to cut back on aid for lower income families, cut back on health care benefits and not provide coverage for birth control? They essentially lose interest in said baby after it's born. Oh yeah - and let's make it really easy to buy guns so "they" can just kill themselves later. And it's certainly A-OK for the state to kill them (capitol punishment.)

I don't have time to go into the rest of the issues. But if you think the uproar is about "the woman's right to screw every Tom Dick and Harry", you're part of the problem. I'll leave you with one example: Ryan voted against the Lillie Ledbetter Act which protects women from being DENIED equal pay for equal work. The only ones being screwed there are female employees.

I especially liked watching "Dirty Harry" bashing Obama.

Seriously? That rambling hot mess of a speech was so cringeworthy that even Lyin' Ryan looked uncomfortable. Loved the line about
See, I never thought it was a good idea for attorneys to the president, anyway.

Apparently forgetting that Romney has a law degree as did more than half of our presidents (including Lincoln, FDR and Thomas Jefferson). Oops!

I don't remember Republicans and their supporters being this soft in the past. I expect every time now when a reporter asks a Republican a tough question, for them to start whining about the media. Even in the national spotlight, on stage, crying about it.

Besides what enlytend mentioned about Mitt having a law degree from Harvard just like Obama after Clint going on about it, Clint also said:

"But you thought the war in Afghanistan was OK. You know, I mean -- you thought that was something worth doing. We didn't check with the Russians to see how did it -- they did there for 10 years."

Did someone fail to mention to Clint, that Romney wants to stay there indifinitely, while Obama wants to get out? Did you hear Romney sounding like McCain, all that war mongering talk. If he wins, good to invest in some war stocks. We'd be involved in more conflicts if we had McCain or Romney in there, which is completely opposite of Ron Paul.

"I especially liked watching "Dirty Harry" bashing Obama."

Except this is a National Convention, not a Celebrity Roast. Some old man babbling to some empty chair was not a good look. The end result? More people talking about Clint, than Mitt.

Funny tweet from Chris Rock:
"Clint Eastwood on the phone with Obama now: "It all went according to plan, sir."

Other thoughts from reading around:
Somes people were more excited by the speeches from Rubio and Condi.

Does Ryan not know it's 2012, endless news cycle, fact checking etc. and to get on stage and lie about things, probably not the best way to introduce yourself to most people who are listening to you for the first time.

'Honey Boo Boo' Ratings Top the Republican National Convention

Romney's acceptance speech didn't mention the word "Afghanistan" once, did he forget we're over there?

It's good going second with these kind of things I think. Because a counter punch is coming in a few days.

"I especially liked watching "Dirty Harry" bashing Obama. I can just imagine the Liberal Media and Hollyweird getting all fluttered and offended about it"

Did you forget when the mainstream right media got all offended about Clint's Superbowl commercial and going after him about it, thinking it was a pro-obama commercial:

Looks like you guys don't like Clint giving President Open Chair some hell. What's wrong, no political sense of humor?
Jay Leno, David Letterman, Bill Maher, Jon Stewart, Chris Rock and so many others are constantly dishing it out to the Republicans in the last 4 years and before that, they had a field day with Bush, and now Dirty Harry gives "open Chair some hell for about 4 minutes and the Libs get all fluttered and confused.

Ill bet MSNBC's Chris Matthews is gonna call it Racism. That pathetic idiot reporter finds racism in every corner he looks at. In fact every 2nd word that he spits out of his mouth is "Racism". Is he what is generally referred to as "White Trash"?

Hope to hear more from Clint Eastwood, one of my favorite actors. I wonder if Clint will bring the empty chair with him in any future interviews?

Maybe his ad you mention above was paid "For A Few Dollars More" by President "Open Chairs's" Hollywood Elite friends.

Time and place. This wasn't it.

And I actually agree with you about Matthews. Heard him the other day going on about it, he was wrong. He kind of makes Dems look bad sometimes, but not on the level as a Rush Limbaugh talking about Obama manipulating the hurricane forecast to disrupt the convention.

On a personal note, I like Clint as well, probably one of the better directors out there.

Nobody's "fluttered" or "confused." It was just "off". Not a lot about Romney in his material and the rambling delivery was weird. Instead of building excitement and buzz for Romney, it got people talking about Eastwood and having a field day with the memes. From a marketing standpoint, it was a dud. I understand this replaced a prepared bio of Romney which was supposed to be shown in that time slot.

(I like Clint too ... as an actor and a director. It was painful to watch that.)

Time will tell if Clint Eastwood's appearance was negative. I'm listening to CNN and Piers Morgan keeps talking about Clint. So it's the Media that's bringing the subject up to make it seem that it was a silly thing to do. I disagree with the media and time will prove me right. Clint's appearance in the convention was a breath of fresh air and will be beneficial to Romney.

The bullshit Liberal media is only trying to convince people that it was a silly thing to do by the Republicans... bla, bla, bla. They are wrong.

As for the picture of BA with the empty chair, He's just copying someone else's idea. Typical Obummer

I never bother to read up on Rush, except for the headlines. One thing is for sure. CNN divided their time between the Convention and Isaac. They missed out on many of the speeches and from what I read so did NBC, CBS, MSNBC etc. by not showing women, latinos or black speakers to give the impression that it was a "White Trash Convention" as someone so LOUDLY and proudly stated on this thread. Wouldn't have expected anything less from the Liberal MSM

I saw all those speakers and I think 1 night I watched PBS, the other CNN. Has nothing to do with impressions, just go look at video, the crowd. It is mainly white, that's just a fact. Of course they want to try to get other segments of the vote, that's why they had what you just posted - "women, latinos or black speakers" They're kind of in a bad position. They want to get more diversified but then it's also obvious everybody knows it and that's why they had those speakers and you ate it up.

"He's just copying someone else's idea. Typical Obummer"

Sure it's just another meme. Somebody found some old picture and then adder their own headline.

"Time will tell if Clint Eastwood's appearance was negative."

What are we talking more about now? Clint or Mitt. Clint. See what I mean. And some of the stuff Clint was saying, didn't help Romney. Lawyer, Afghanistan, just another politician coming around every 4 years, they probably were uncomfortable when he was up there saying all that.

"The bullshit Liberal media is only trying to convince people that it was a silly thing to do by the Republicans"

Except, a lot of Republicans are saying the same kind of thing. It's just giving Dems, ammo. Few more days, not going to be pretty.

You keep talking about the media, but they're just reporting what happened and what people are talking about. The blame on all of that, is whoever let Clint go on stage, mumbling, talking to invisible people in chairs. They set themselves up with that kind of thing. So there's no fluttering of confusion from the Dems, just thanks. They're loving it.

I was lately looking for a rental property in MD and it was a nigh mare, called several agents, but 95% of them didn't even bother to return my call back without even knowing my budget or what I was looking for. Bottom line, should I blame the economy or lazy realtors used to sit at the office waiting for buyers coming with fat briefcase full of money? "No offense"

Not knowing anything about the subject it would appear that the problem would be "Lazy Realtors"

Here's what the old prick said:

We own this country.

I wonder, what do I own? A pair of old underwear?

Wow a whole lot changed after one convention.
Amazing.
If this much changes after the election just imagine what is possible.

I guess Bishop Romney used to be a reasonable man.
But he hooked up with the extreme right and all that Tea Party fringe.

:bingo:
