Hi

For this, let's assume that .tel will not be a total flop.

What type of keywords will be most valuable for this extension? Will it be geographical keywords, like newyork.tel, losangeles.tel, etc, or what else?

ahaha Sorry, can you please provide some stats about these daily sales
and post them here, cause wouldn't it help tokeep pumping it where the action is - oh yeah, there isin't any.

a list of sales would be nice instead of a link to your forum.

Not Spam, an answer to a member question.
Not My forum, I have no idea whose it is.
FACTS are stated above, Sorry To Burst your bubble.
The only problem is you, or there isin't any, or isn't any.

:p

Is there a way to add custom code to the .tel page?

I think a click to call addition would leapfrog the usage quite a bit.

Or maybe not, but worth a try in any case.

Telnic have locked up their forum.

Instead (self promotion removed) has opened.

No association to you? :)

Great though is it not. A .tel forum on a .org! Says it all.

This isn't a forum.

forum - an assembly, meeting place, etc., for the discussion of questions of public interest.

It is a Nazi board.

nazi - a person who is fanatically dedicated to or seeks to control a specified activity, practice, etc.

Good bye Nazi board, you have no value to the public interest.

Some people just can't see the truth for what it is.

.tel has had three years to promote and develop itself, and it has failed.

.tel's locked forum does not bode well for telnic. A thriving company does not need to censor its members...

As many of you know, I was a great proponent of .tel (just flip backwards in this thread, and you'll see rah, rah, rah), but there comes a time when one must face facts (and, in my case, eat crow--yum!).

An expensive, but well-learned lesson.

Sad, but true: .tel is simply a hint of what's to come in the great vanity gTLD onslaught to come.

What Telnic should have been... sigh

* Ring your phone
* Automatically send message to callers when you're
busy (e.g. "I'm in a meeting", "I'm driving")
* Send callers your contact info

Just pure curiosity, any one got his name .tel, or his name first letters .tel? :)
I was interested in getting my name first letters (a LL.tel), but it was taken from someone who has the same first letters as my name

I got my last name in 2009 and dropped it after a year because nobody from my family was really interested in it.

Btw: uhren.tel (watches) sold for 800 EUR not long ago as far as I know

I got my name (first and last names) and my initials (three letters) back when they first came out. Let the initials drop. I use the name.tel for my email address. I was taken aback earlier this year, however, when I bought a laptop at BestBuy. The guy tried to enter my email address into their computer system, and the system didn't recognize the TLD and wouldn't accept it. First time I ever had that happen.

It looks like that new initiatives like TELNAMES and TELTALK attract new customers for .TEL

With the offer from Telnames .tel is becoming the first domain extension for end users, but without value for domain investors.

Hence you will find only small businesses on .tel, but no parking pages.

Telnames is starting its worldwide marketing next months.

So they soak a bunch of unsuspecting buyers with the hype of a GREAT platform
and flop

now almost 4 years later they send you to try to hype it up again LOL

and small business on .tel LOL that's even funnier than the sad attempt at a comeback

and it's not interactive with users so it's pretty much an unlooked at Billboard ;)

Starting a phone call on mobiles is not interactive?

Don't you know the main purpose of cell phones?

Small businesses make mistakes too.

Starting a phone call on my mobile is interactive by ME
not my users.

and of course I know the purpose of a cell phone...

but I don't need a .tel to dial my number, oh right - they don't

do you know what an "interactive" site is?

PS: What is your interactive .tel? feel free to PM it to me
