Hi

For this, let's assume that .tel will not be a total flop.

What type of keywords will be most valuable for this extension? Will it be geographical keywords, like newyork.tel, losangeles.tel, etc, or what else?

I may have said this in the past, but nothing has stopped dialing a .com from happening. All you'd need is a special file like phone.txt in the top level directory. Then you dial whatever.com, it checks for phone.txt, gets the number and dials it.

Hi

Can you give me a website that is using phone.txt so I can try it out. please

More and more telephone now have keyboard, pda, Iphone....
The number of phone connected to internet is increasing.... and this is just a start.
Bottom line is, .tel cannot be a complete substitute for the global telephone system as it exists today. Maybe in 40 years. Too late to cash in IMO. I hope you have an exit plan.

I don't think .tel was intended to replace the current numbering system... I think it's main intent is to work with the current numbering system, and create a seamless link between the internet and phone systems/Networks, making it easier to access data at a very HIGH speed due to the info being stored directly on the DNS...

What makes this is good is the same old doubters keep reading and posting about something they claim to have no interest in.

As said before why keep reading this thread and posting comments on something that you guys claim is useless, dated and does not have a hope in hell of being around in the future.

I think you guys have more of an interest in the .tel then you let on, because I know full well that 99%of people who don't have an interest in something, share there views then move on, but not you guys, you post time and time again, same all comments.

Mind you its you guys that make this wonderful .tel extension keep being talked about, are you sure you have nothing to do with telnic and are keeping the thread really interesting for promotional reasons. :hehe:

Oh well it's getting late, look forward to more of your same old posts tomorrow they always make me smile.

Regards

Gav

How interested do you think people are in reading reviews of .tel profiles?

Total waste of time...

I want to say that a directory of directories listing .tel directories is too stupid, but something tells me that one is on the way once there are enough directories of .tel directories.

If you guy want to pick up new .tel, in my opinion, just wait until March.

If everything still be the same, there would have a big drop ever for .tel including over 30 tels from mine.
