I just bought a few to flip, but someone mentioned an interesting approach at monetizing these with affliate links as the weblinks. Maybe put in 2-3 links and see how it works. Might as well try it a good paying keyword name like this! Wonder what the restrictions are on 'leasing out' the phone number every month?

You can rent or lease subdomains, but you have to keep control of it, which means you (not the customer) will have to add links, etc. to the card.
If you own a company, you can lend your employee a subdomain, and they may work on it (according to TOS), but I would imagine that unless Telnic approves a separate login for subdomains, most companies will fill in the subdomain for the employee.
When I was in the pre-order pool for ringtones[.]tel, I had thought about setting up a ringtone parking page (on a dot com site) and linking the .tel to it and also rent out some affiliate links on the main page and on subdomains (free.ringtones[.]tel)
I do have ring-tones[.]tel (GA pre-order reg), so I may do it still, given the the two-word version does garner over 100,000 exact searches a month. But that ringtones[.]tel would have been sweet (over 800,000 exact searches), and I could have charged a small fortune for a link (that is, once .tel takes off).
The point is, I think that with the right keywords, affiliate links could be very lucrative.
