For this, let's assume that .tel will not be a total flop.

What type of keywords will be most valuable for this extension? Will it be geographical keywords, like newyork.tel, losangeles.tel, etc, or what else?

just regged two tel's. I wasn't going to but the hottie in the video convinced me
ehb.tel (my initials, could be useful on resume or for writing on train windows).

My first and last name where taken and so where most of the dutch geo's but I did get:

zeeland.tel: a province of The Netherlands. The only province that was still available. It's too not bad actually, a small 400k inhabitants and a lot of tourism. Sun, surf and beach, that kinda thing

It seems the person who wrote the .tel news at Sedo might be having a bad day, how do you not proof read what you are about to make live on a mega site like Sedo, ( .TEL domains can?t be parked.) what's with the question mark? Also the wording describing .tel video as short amusing is also not a wise choice coming from a site that enjoys the hype of new domain extensions that increase their revenue in domain sales. I bet the latest .tel news at Sedo will be reworded by tomorrow.

Guys, i think all the people who got in early and got any good .tels will be laughing all the way to the bank in years to come. I dont think many people realise how big .tel will be. It will become the norm for society to have a .tel. Its as simple as that. Ive got mine and im happy. Wait till the general public catch on, its gunna be bigger than ben hur!
