For this, let's assume that .tel will not be a total flop.

What type of keywords will be most valuable for this extension? Will it be geographical keywords, like newyork.tel, losangeles.tel, etc, or what else?

Well, just checked my domainmonster account and I have gotten (in green and checked on whois) 58/87 domains. Im pretty stoked with that considering all the comp.

I've got at GA : Costa Mesa (U.S. city with many shopping and businesses) I can see many cities available with 100 000+ people but not want to register because not much businesses or not really attractive.

Nice name. I would approach businesses in the Costa Mesa area about putting their information on your .tel. I'm sure many businesses would jump at the chance of having their info accessible to millions. Also, tell them it would give them a 1-up on their competition.

hello, everyone first of all i would like to thank , Justin for his continued support towards the .tel and also showcase something new to the people of the new era.

i think the ad was too catchy and should be on air on major TVs around the world
even with different Languages so people from all over the world .tel the world how
it feels to be connected.

i have secured 26/41 Domains which isnt bad at all and thanks to domainmonster and onlinenic for making this happen.

i'm waiting till the smoke clears looks like i will be getting most of what i pre-ordered at dmonster though. They were a bit more pricey than some of the other registrars, but given their stated track record on landrushes its worth the little extra i thought, rather than pre-order for $10 somewhere else but not securing as many as you want

Yep, thank you, there are 2 big main famous shopping area: south coast plaza and oc marketplace ...

i think if you get what you wanted price shoulnt matter, i choose domain monster because they are supportive, always avilable except weekends but their support email also comes quick in handy.

so i would never move my domains from domain monster, even though i was pissed at landrush but i did get what was meant for me not their fault.
