Hi

For this, let's assume that .tel will not be a total flop.

What type of keywords will be most valuable for this extension? Will it be geographical keywords, like newyork.tel, losangeles.tel, etc, or what else?

Hmmm I'll be following how much .tel sells on sedo pages. I just put sexuality.tel and finger.tel for sale there. I'll keep you guys posted.
I thought it wasn't possible to put .tel on sedo? Or is that just in terms of parking?

Btw that genome analogy is really good. Well put. Bet .tel could use that as part of their marketing.

You can list the name on SEDO, you just can park the name on SEDO or anywhere else for that matter.

Just completed the sale of a triple-premium LLL for $530.
It was the buyer's initials.

Now if only I could get $530 for each of my remaining 145 LLL.tels... :guilty:

Did you get confirmation from sedo that buyer sent them the money?

No not yet but as soon as I do I will be posting here. Just so people get a rough idea how long things take on sedo (on .tel sales).

Just read the Frager factor and google voice links.

Interesting technology, but frager does not address .Tel at all. There are links to google voice pages and thats it. everyone in SV knows about google voice but how does this affect .tel?

I still have to go through a web browser on my phone reach google voice and login. this is not even close to .tel.

I think google voice is an awesome product, absolutely. I don't see how this changes the game at all for .tel, seems like 2 completely different products. Google will probably integrate .tel usage in the future for google voice.

I think it affects .tel because Google Voice provides the functionality and services that .tel has been assigned to provide and more.

I still have to go through a web browser on my phone reach google voice and login. this is not even close to .tel.

You use web browser on your phone to reach .tel site as well.
Unless you're talking about the apps for some phone...
I'm sure that google will (or already has) implement apps to different phones for easy connection. They already have Google Android software distributing to different phones.

I really doubt Google will integrate .tel usage in the future for Google Voice.
There's really no point for them to do that.

Google Voice is just the new name for Grand Central. If you have a Google Voice number then you can obviously include it on your .tel with the rest of your contact information, just as you can include other channels like international numbers, i.e. iNum.

There is no overlap between any of these services, but the growing number of telephony products is testament to the necessity for .tel.

"Better communications in a time of complexity." :tu:

Exactly, also Lets just hope that google voice stays in the usa for now... I can't imagine them trying to decipher my voice message into a text.. if they have enough trouble getting an American accent at the mo, imagine a proper English accent (lol) like from Britain or New Zealand (maybe only the Aussies would stand a chance of being understood), hehe. Nothing more irritating and tiring than having to talk to your phone all day without someone on the other end IMO too, but who knows, it might take off.. will be just another service to add to your .tel domain as Andy says.
I can't wait to get my domains out of Dotster. I think Ms Domainer had probs with them and shes not alone. They have an online chat service which isnt even hooked up and I gave up trying to contact them by phone. In a nutshell, their service SUX bigtime and they will be lucky to have any customers left soon, dumbassses.

The singular format would have been a better fit, but this one is still worth high ($XXX) to low ($X,XXX).

I have a hard time believing some of these sales. I'm not calling anyone liars, far from it actually.

Deja Vu anyone.
