Hello!

We generated a list of unregistered one-word (English) .com domain names. Thought people here might be interested.

We worked on this purely for fun. Therefore, please don't expect the list to be 100% accurate. Also, we took 'English words' to be those that existed in our dictionary - I agree many of the words are pretty strange (at least I hadn't heard of them) so please don't complain about this :D

The full list is here: https://www.domcomp.com/blog/the-last-coms.html

I'm considering at doing a .org and .net one as well, if people are interested - let me know if you are.

Thanks, very interesting. I would like to see the org and net for sure.

Edit: I checked a dozen names and everyone was registered. There's a lot of words in there that I know have to be registered as they would be selling for $XX,XXX. Even found a few I already own :)

I wanted to add that it appeared to just be a run of bad luck with the dozen domains I started with. I loaded the whole list into a bulk domain check and there are many good words in here, along with some really odd ones.

I wouldn't mind seeing a .net version... if you have time.

Great list. I didn't like stubbliest but I did take the one before it, stubbier :) I now go thru the list in more detail to see if there are any other gems :)

Without a serious, logical analysis, I found a few other keyword-ier type domain like stubbier available for registration. But most domains I tried had been already registered for a very long time. I'm not complaining about the quality of the list here. I understand the spirit in which the list was donated. I did find one domain which looked like it may have been registered from this list (a new reg in Nov 2015). But my sampling was not scientific. It was based upon what I felt looked interesting, and the sampling was very small, maybe 30 domains tops.

I'm grateful for this list being published, and that I found a domain, which I might be able to use in the future. I actually had some fun with this list. Thank you very much @Voodoomoodoo.

Some decent names that are still available from that list, 925 in total.

Some with great search volume with low competition like.. Peremptorily, Appositives, Kowtowing...
Some with CPC value... Laundresses, Saunaed, Woolongong...
Nice brandables... Chicories, Creakiest, Tweedier, Soppiest...

Haven't taken any on this occasion but these types of lists are great so thank you

I picked up โ“คโ“โ““โ“”โ“’โ“”โ“˜โ“ฅโ“˜โ“โ“–.โ“’โ“žโ“œ & โ“œโ“คโ“ฃโ“ขโ“คโ“—โ“˜โ“ฃโ“ž.โ“’โ“žโ“œ.

โ“‚โ“คโ“ฃโ“ขโ“คโ“—โ“˜โ“ฃโ“ž (also known as Meiji Tenno; 1852-1912) was a Japanese emperor, who became the symbol for, and encouraged, the dramatic transformation of Japan from a feudal closed society into one of the great powers of the modern world.

My first 1 word .com's! A Brandable and a Japanese Emperor. Not too shabby, huh? :P

Thank you so much @Voodoomoodoo!!!

Yes, I would love an updated list. Preferably one that includes domains that may have fallen off the doman registry and weren't on the original list

Finkish.com

Finkish wasn't there

Term due to the contemporary Canadian philosopher C. B. Martin, to describe powers with the uncomfortable habit of failing to operate just as the occasion for their manifestation comes about. Thus intuitively a glass might be fragile, but also be protected by a guardian angel, who steps in and saves it when some accident is about to break it. So no normal manifestation of fragility ever arises.
