The original thread which I won't link to left me with a bad taste.

Even though I'm here to learn, engage and conduct business I refuse to let go of the fact that each and every one of you is a real person. A person with their own believes, their own faith and their own challenges in life.

It's not about mixing religion with business, it's about honestly caring about the person behind it.

We all need a little support now and then, we all need some prayer, or a reassuring word when we don't believe in anything.

We all need to be shown some love and appreciation. Maybe need isn't the right word, you deserve love, appreciation and comforting in times of need!

Today my life took a turn with scared me to death, challenged my believes and has taken me by surprise.

Now, I'm a Christian and damned God. Later this day I randomly met someone at work, we got into talk about Eid al-Adha and there I was, confiding in him about my struggles. And we prayed together. Engaging like this isn't new to me, but given current events it created new meaning, I was not forsaken.

We don't share the same believes, but we do share the same faith. Faith In our God, faith in people supporting each other in times of need.

I really needed that. Now, if you ever are in need of prayer, or a reassuring word, know there will always be sincere people around to support you with either through thought or prayer.

You don't need to share your story but if you are in need of a prayer or a kind word of support, feel free to comment. Know I will pray for you.

Love.

This reminded me of a song that I would like to share now:

It's incredibly moving to see such a heartfelt expression of care and kindness. The reminder that we are all individuals with our own challenges and beliefs, and that we need love and support, is something that resonates deeply. Despite our differences, it's the shared humanity and mutual respect that bring us together in times of need. Your willingness to offer prayers and words of encouragement is a beautiful testament to the power of community, empathy, and compassion. For anyone seeking comfort or strength, there’s always a space for kindness and understanding, and you’ve opened that space here. Thank you for sharing such a powerful message. Prayer for Good Humor
by St. Thomas More

Grant me, O Lord, good digestion, and also something to digest.
Grant me a healthy body, and the necessary good humor to maintain it.
Grant me a simple soul that knows to treasure all that is good
and that doesn’t frighten easily at the sight of evil,
but rather finds the means to put things back in their place.
Give me a soul that knows not boredom, grumblings, sighs and laments,
nor excess of stress, because of that obstructing thing called “I.”
Grant me, O Lord, a sense of good humor.
Allow me the grace to be able to take a joke to discover in life a bit of joy,
and to be able to share it
with others.
