It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it. B-)

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

Alexandria.pro

Anchorage.pro

Arlington.pro

Belfast.pro

Birmingham.pro

Budapest.pro

Durham.pro

Fairfax.pro

Italian.pro

Lisbon.pro

Fire away with your regs after the relaunch on September 8th, 2008.

Sad that only 200 odd sites even rank though.

I took a look at many of those sites and it seems very few of them been optimized and few are keyword domains.

Greetings...I just stepped by for a brief visit to announce that I just cleared escrow on Sedo for the sale of REALTY.pro for $10,000.00 US to an undisclosed buyer. I wish all good health and even healthier sales...:sold:

I think its a HUGE sale.

Compare the numbers with real estate or property and you'll see my view.

Congrats! :tu:

is dnjournal going to pick this up? Usually they get the sedo sales., but sales in general not to mention 10K+ sales help put .pro on the map. Great Job!

Apple.pro was all over the news today, when they posted a (possible) leaked new iPhone model.

i can't imagine they will be allowed to keep the name - but great for .pro exposure!

I think they will with this one. The registrant details have been updated and it was a Sedo sale. I have added it to the sale price page of Total.pro.

The Feb 10 .pro Registry Operator Report is out. Total .pros registered went up 1% in the month from 41,490 to 41,898. The trend by registrar is the same as the last couple of months, DomainPeople were the biggest loser, falling from 6,834 to 6,154, and Encirca was the biggest winner, up from 11,469 to 11,765. Back in Jun 09, there were only 371 .pros between DomainPeople and Encirca.

I wonder how enom will 'rank' after a few months.

Anyone know when the Registry.pro 1,2,3 letter auction would be held?

WOW! Eight 3 letter .pros and One LN.pro. No other 2 or even 1 letters allocated. Just goes to show that RFP process, like the earlier stringent credential requirement, just hinder growth.

They really should do their best to make sure all the site remain professional and leave it at that.

So now will they release the rest for general registration?

That would be fun

9 is kinda funny though, specially when they say stuff like "RegistryPro, the exclusive operator of the .PRO top-level domain (TLD) on the Internet, has announced the results of the first phase of its historic one- two- and three-character release and allocation campaign. "

9 that don't even make any sense... well 411.pro maybe but when was the last time you used 411? I haven't.

Wake up RegistryPro. Whatever it is, is not working, really. Instead of this monkey business, remove restrictions that don't make any sense and let the free market do what it does best, shape .PRO's future.

I don't know if they realize that people have invested money in .PRO and to have it go down the toilet because of stupid regulations and baseless restrictions is just mind boggling!!!

I sold Leads.pro for $2,500 this week on Sedo. The buyer is developing a forum for leads generation professionals.
