It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it. B-)

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

Alexandria.pro

Anchorage.pro

Arlington.pro

Belfast.pro

Birmingham.pro

Budapest.pro

Durham.pro

Fairfax.pro

Italian.pro

Lisbon.pro

Fire away with your regs after the relaunch on September 8th, 2008.

Broke my promise and just regged

AllInclusive.Pro

I think because I've been planning a vacation for the past couple of weeks I feel a need to register GEOs and vacation/travel related things. I think AllInclusive.Pro has a lot of potential 52M google results and there are numerous sites with 4-5 words containing AllInclusive in the domains...some more than 25 letters long. Could probably find an end-user.

That is a good one, I really like it. :gn:

I couldn't find sale for that type of domain, perhaps Andrew could fill us in from his unlimited knowledge and resources. :)

I regged Hyper.pro;

Hyper - a Greek work meaning "above" or "more than." It is used as a prefix to technical concepts and products to convey a more advanced or more automatic capability.

It can be also used for various type of projects

.PRO boom is continuing:)

It's a bit long but it's got a double pro and companies sometimes have that word in their name, 11 .coms have been sold starting with the word progressive, the highest being ProgressiveEnergy at $7,000.

You may want to look at this:

www.showcase.pro

That site is by encirca and has not been updated recently but gives you an idea as to what is out there. :tu:

Another excellent grab!

Don't forget to read this thread before you email people... I sent out few emails as trial for CountryClub.pro and GolfClub.pro to potential country clubs around the country which have websites but they are all 20, 25, 30 characters in their domains. I did not receive positive replies but no negatives either.

Good luck!

Thanks IT. I've skimmed through that thread before, so much information.

Here are two developed GEO.Pro.

www.Oahu.pro - Think it's an NPer's.
www.Algarve.pro - Found that as I was looking for more GEOs to register.

Anyone know more?

Oh! Yes! These themes will be FOREVER!
So our .PRO boom is continuing. Never stops
I promised myself that I'll stop regging .PRO, and as I remember - you too:), but still continuing...:)

In my opinion .PRO will pass much time before it will gain significant worldwide value. But from other point of view - Nothing ventured, nothing gained :)

I also like HardDrive.pro, there is a strong association between Drive and Pro and it's usually hard drive related, the value here is a data recovery brand rather than the sale of harddrives. DataRecovery.com sold for $1.7m.

Upholstery.pro is a nice .pro. People want their chair professionally upholstered or reupholstered and it's a unique skill with a premium value attached.

Something like Mint.pro doesn't look useful on the surface but if you do a bit of research, Mint.net sold for $8,000 and redirects to Beverly Hills Mint Real Estate and even Mint.info sold for $691. Plus it's 4 letters and a colour which gives it standalone brandability. It would also work well for alot of collecting based hobbies where mint is the ultimate condition of something. Mint.pro would make a great brand for a coin or stamp site.

Exactly my thoughts when I registered some of the recent .PROs.

Mint in particular is my favorite as it can go towards many directions as far as development is concerned.

Quick search on yahoo shows type of advertisers that come up for mint keyword.

Yes, I said I won't but then you think of a word and you are forced to take the risk.

For example:

Mint.pro, Livery.pro, etc. were in my list last year around this time so I didn't register them but after bit of a research, these make up good business around the world.

Livery is type of business for automobile (luxury, like limo) renting along with other types of rentals like canoes but it can also go towards totally different business related to horses.

Mint also has many applications from coins, stamps, collectors metals products to candy.

Since Flowers.pro is taken along with Florist, I picked up Floral.pro yesterday as well. Its a good popular keyword and business is awesome.

Mint.Pro is great for that, I remember you regged Maxi.Pro a couple of weeks ago.

Generic one word .PROs don't seem very useful but they're great BECAUSE they are generic and broad.

That was my reasoning when I regged, Fresh.Pro and Flow.Pro, hundreds of millions of google search results, flow.com is a snowboarding equipment website and fresh.com is cosmetics. If you didn't look into it you would've never known this, but because general one word names are so broad a lot of companies seek them.
