It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it.

Pheenix domains still exist, I still meet their .PRO domains with frozen Expiration dates like 2018...
Why they are alive and were not dropped/removed by Afilias - I don't understand...

In majority of cases PC performs better.

I have already seen a few suspended domains there (clientHold status).

And also some registrars are partners of dropcatching platforms...
So you can't control where it will be caught.

I already deleted them all from my list, but today detected the suspended CALC.

Another detected domains were with recent expiration dates, all were renewed - but they remain in the suspended state.

I could see EDomains/Catched accumulating domains in some extensions by placing shill bids. And i guess they started renewing dropped domains.

If no answer per certain DNS type query - then these domains are suspended (*Hold in WHOIS).
