It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it.

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

I have seen a few Swiss companies on .PRO doing my WHOIS reviews...
I can easily recall BROKER.PRO (2005-2024)

But overall - Yes, Afilias doesn't spend anything for .PROmotion.
It is applicable for any country, except Russia and France - where their registrars did a nice work in the past.

Afilias didn't anything... even minimal press release for this event...
True idiots.

.PRO lives and grows just on its endusers...
Registry can only block the domains, that's all they can.

Trying to negotiate higher...

So just 2 sales did last year... to Austria and Spain.
2019 EUR BIN and 585 EUR accordingly.
Weak year for me, 2018 was significantly better.

Regarding Switzerland I can also add, that were 2 .PRO bidders from this country... mid $xxx (Bodis) and $1,XXX (Dan).
I rejected both.

For me - ZERO results for 4+ months... Even in 3F range...

And I have moved 2 .PROs from Sedo to Uni... Probably, later will add more domains...
