Hello Folks,

Hope this post is not too long. Here goes:

Few months back I received an offer for my .in domain. That person offered me $300.00 for the domain. I had quoted $1K for the name and the person did not get back to me.

Now, the buyer is asking if I am willing to sell it for $1K. Now, my situation is that I had invested some money to develop this domain. This domain is NOT parked and has a "Under Construction" page.

I'm not sure what to reply. Of course, I want to maximize my gains and but at the same time I'm not sure if I should sell it.

Any inputs are highly appreciated.

Thanks

If you feel the domain has a value to you more than $1000, tell them that you have been creating a webpage for the name, and the domain is no longer available for sale at that price. They might walk away; they might not. Depends on the name and your comfort for risk.

security.eu 8,000$ Sedo

I agree this thread turned into a complete mess as originally it was only for .eu.

I believe there should be a separate thread for every major ccTLD.

There are about 200+ cctlds.

Including about 20 which could be counted as major.

Just not feasible.

How about one common thread for all "minor" (measured in the number and volume of sales) cctlds, then if one becomes "major" it is moved to a dedicated thread? For the moment I'd pick these as "major":

.co.uk
.de
.eu
.us (?)
.in (?)
.cn (?)

.ca
.la
.com.au
.ws
.cc (if we're looking at sales values)

Tough call, I'll talk to management if you want.

Cheers

Historia

Someone thought it was worth it! Maybe it was because of this:

Historia.pl (the cctLD for Poland) likely benefits from spillover traffic from an established website at Historia.org.pl.
