It's a frightening time. Not just because the tech monopolies have decided to take sides and ban rival political opinion - I always knew they had it in them. What's frightening is how well-received it is by so many Americans. As Senator Chris Murphy said in a line so Orwellian that Orwell would have deleted it as being too ridiculous: "The survival of American democracy" depends on the silencing of opinions.

People who are cheering this one, the conclusion is obvious. I wonder how they will explain this to their grandchildren (assuming they will even be allowed to at that point). Anybody who supports this censorship will have much to be ashamed of (assuming they can feel shame). People just make the same terrible mistakes over and over again. It's a sad thing to realize.

Germany: Somali pirates hijacked a German ship a few years ago. Now they live on social assistance in Germany. Not even criminal pirates are deported from the madhouse!

Hamburg - The pirates arrived on Easter Sunday at lunchtime.

With two speedboats they hunted about 500 nautical miles off the coast of Somalia to the German freighter "Taipan" and opened fire from rocket launchers and Kalashnikovs. Bullets hit the bridge, then the pirates threw their grappling hooks, captured the German ship.

The brutal raid in April 2010 was followed by a costly mega-trial in Germany: in the end, ten pirates from Somalia in Hamburg were sentenced to prison terms of between two and seven years.

It was the first pirate trial in Germany for over 600 years.

Meanwhile, all pirates are free again - and five of them live in Hamburg! They receive social benefits, send their children to the day-care center, receive German-language courses from the state, according to WELT am SONNTAG (WamS).

your missing the bigger picture here , or you just dont have a clue as to what is going on around you & in the world ? if people DO NOT speak up about what is going on , the silencing of conservatives , the bashing of christianity , & a multitude of other issues by the time they do decide to speak up it may be too late

This is a classic example of what Europe has become. That's why millions are illegally invading Europe, knowing full well that once they set a foot in this continent they automatically have more rights than the indigenous population, who have to work harder to support these freeloaders.

Somali pirates also attacked Russian, Chinese and Indian boats, but unlike the dumb German authorities, they didn't waste time and money with defending them. They just shot them dead or let them drown.... I believe Americans did the same.

Alex Jones isn't a conservative. But you're right, there appears to be a liberal bias by the censors. I haven't heard of any democrat campaign adds being denied by Facebook. Or democrat politicians being shadow-banned by twitter.

I think most politicians are scared of rocking the boat. We need a more competition in the social media market.

Yeah, a lot are mad at the Green Party. I don't think the Republicans have those same type of issues. Dems have left leaning parties like Green Party, Socialist etc that would otherwise most likely vote Dem. Republicans don't really have these things.
