.tv THE NFL and dot tv

Looks like The National football League let NFL.tv drop NFL.tv pointed to NFL.com they did not use like MLB ( MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL) and put the games on the .tv site.

All of the teams have dropped and are regular fee

NOW this is a trmendous TM risk the NFL in the past has had no problem getting names back it wanted because to reg an NFL team name and have a ppc for NFL merchandise or your own site showing NFL merchandise is violating their TM's the licensing fees the NFL recieves and the NFL PA Players association are huge.

So before a bunch of squatters start saying it no a tm violation, IT IS but maybe you can sell before the NFL finds the domain.

Reason why I regged none was this and would have loved to have had COLTS but who is your end user? Not the COLTS NFL already owned and can get back through UDRP oR WIPO . Development seems attractive but they willsay you infringing TM so I could not see away to work these domains.

When I first started regging .tvs, a lot of the NBA teams were available.
I had exactly the same reaction as you EQ

Bulls.tv is a great name if you could focus on the Chicago Bulls which you can't and it is a very average to mediocre name if you are focused on what, bull breeding?

yea i had browns, colts, bengals, broncos and panthers all in my cart last night ... figured i'd take some time and think about it today so never regged .. now luckily, i don't have to think about them anymore! some could most definetly be used for other things other than football
