Hi i am just curious,

Does someone know the name of the upcoming TLDs?

I ride somewhere that there would be new TLDs in mid 2008, do you know what their name are gonna be?

.asia was approved last year I think. I believe he's talking about the new gTLD's. I don't think ICANN has accepted applications yet. You can read the FAQ here:

There is no gTLD application process open at this time, but work is underway to lead to announcement of a new gTLD application round.
