The near future of .EU value

I was one of the lucky people who managed to register two LLL.eu domains... I had an offer to sell them for 250 euro each (so 500 euro in total) but decided to keep them a bit longer, hoping to see .EU rise in value.

Do you think .EU will further increase in value, or would it be best now to seek a buyer straight away?

I hope to emigrate again soon (either to Scandinavia or the Mediterranean) so I can use some money, on the other hand I have some reserves so I would feel a bit sour to sell my domains and conclude afterwards that waiting a few months could have gotten me much more money...

IMO you should not sell for less than mid-high $$$ unless you've got really bad letters. Also I believe that the LLL names will increase in value also under .eu but probably at a slower pace than .com .net etc.

Depends on which letters you have. The average LLL.EU is low-mid $xxx reseller. Prices will go up but slowly.

I am totally unsure about the value of .eu. I have not heard of any huge sales for .eu, only for the latest .mobi, the sportsbook one.

I have a .eu domain, which i am going to let expire, i think.

Hotels.eu €257,000 = $329,509
shopping.eu €153,500 = $196,803
onlinecasino.eu €36,500 = $46,748

If it is a nice one I might be interested. You can give it a try and send me a pm

Keep hold of them Gerrit, i know which ones you refer to and it's worth keep holding on to.
Develop them into...something...around a certain niche and build traffic on them to increase the value of your LLL.eu domains.

The .eu is not a business TLD , it's a domain extension with good potential for broader purposes then only a representation of a corporate business website to express European presence.

Develop or extend your registrations with 5 years each and mark it on your calendar or something and don't look back.
Then 5 years from now you will probably be discussing €XXXX price ranges instead of €XXX and if you develop you have even better potential to maximize your sales prices at that time.

If you REALLY need the money then i can understand you would want to sell but if you see another route then don't sell :imho:
