On Nov. 02, 2007 all LLLL.com were bought out.

On Feb. 05, 2008 all premium LLLL.net were bough out.

Its time to start LLLL.org countdown.

That is the beauty of .org
O is also great as "Organization", L is "League".
Plus all the countries, regions, cities that stand for the acronym either as one letter or two letter combo.
Oman, Oslo, Ontario etc.
Latvia, Lithuania, London, Los Angeles...
R for Research, Rights, Region(al)...

And that goes for most of the western prems.

Another advantage of .org: .com faces competition from cctlds in many countries as a domain of choice, while organizations, associations, foundations, agencies etc. around the world in most of the cases prefer .org

And, no, non-profit does not mean poor.

I've been buying 4l.orgs on drops and auctions and selling them to endusers since the Summer of 2014. In just under a year and a half, I've made 43 sales mainly in the US and Europe, min 250 USD, max 1200 USD. There's definitely value in Western Premiums regardless of what happens with Chinese investors.

Tempeting as it was, I decided to hold out - the value may go up in coming weeks.

I certainly hope so. I don't have any 4L.org chips, but close to them.

Perhaps sell 20 of them now and make your money back.

Sell 100 at $70, then reinvest in buying around $50-60 here, GD etc. That will also help tighten the floor )

Just registered another batch of 45 western prems.
Had to scan for 900 to get that many.
I think we are down to 5% available from 8% just couple days ago.

It is too early to sell chip orgs. My expectation is $100-$250. Maybe even more. Current floor price does not leave any profit, considering min. commission fees.

Generally "A" is great in LLLL in any position for .org
Association, Advisory, Agency, Alliance, bunch of countries, regions, states, cities etc.

I was wondering the same thing. I would have probably sold 200 hundred of my chips if I got that offer.

I think it's early in this game. Federer probably wise not to sell. You can't scoop those back up easily under $70, at least in the West.

In China, I think that all that is happening are the weak hands are selling. Definitely stay tuned.

.org will catch up to .net and .com normal ratios.
Generally, in all segments there have been less offer/trade in .org than com/net.
Not sure why but, for example, great keyword .org or LLL org are rarely offered for sale, which is kind of also hurting formation of liquid asset.

Compare to stocks: there has to be just enough inventory in the market. If everything is held and bought out, the market is not as smooth and transparent.

If somebody want to get out from LLLL.org CP market, I'll get them off your hands at $20/name

Sounds very similar to what is happening right now.

I'm not being the doom & gloom police... but it is something to consider.

I guess shorting could be done...
So, let's say you think LLLL.com CP is overpriced and someone is holding 1000 of those.
You agree that you take it from him and in a year return 1100 LLLL.com CPs (does not matter which).
You sell immediately, they fall in price by 20% within a year, you buy back 1250 names, return 1100, you have 150 in your hands )

Something to consider but back then there was no buyout nor major Chinese investment....

I simply replied to someone at a forum who was looking for LLLL.org and asked him his budget for mine. He said $70 each for the 342. He is buying at this price because the are going to double or triple in value pretty soon.
