Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

It always makes sense to buy with some plan in mind.

Anyone who buys blindly without any research or plan is more than likely going to lose money in any venture sooner or later.

The LLLL.com market has many nuances which Snoop does not seem to understand. The vast majority of LLLL.com owners did not buy only the worst domains at the peak.

Brad

Very rightly put Brad, be it LLLL,com or any other.. if you dont know what you are buying, there is very lil' chance that you'll be able to make much out of it!!

But Mister Snoop doesnt want to accept that he can be wrong as well!!

It was bought when the PPC was still very high, and it is a typo of loan.

All of today's drops were picked up almost instantly. I will update previous lists shortly. Edit: all of yesterday's 107 drops appear to be taken. There are 26 remaining domains from the large drop on 18th September. I will confirm these results with a deep scan. Edit: deep scan shows 27 remaining. A domain has been grace deleted. I will update the lists shortly. Edit: all lists updated and grace deleted domain published. Please click the top link in my signature to view.

I bet a number of latecomers will rush in to grab the not so tasty crumbs. They will be left holding the bag (most likely).
At another forum Rubber Duck observed that most LLLL drops don't get backorders. If they are not even worth a GD backorder at $18.99, to me it means present market value is between reg fee and $18.98 :)

LOAN typo, maybe that's why :P and when you try to type "LOAN" quickly, most of us tend to type it like "LAON" you see.. maybe that's the reason ;)

Addition: Laon (French pronunciation: [lษ‘ฬƒ]) is the capital city of the Aisne department, part of Picardie in northern France.

This may not be the case. SnapNames currently appear to blanket catch all the LLLL.com domains they can, whether or not they've been backordered by SnapNames customers. Any that haven't been backordered at Snap seem to go to public auction. It may be that many were backordered at GoDaddy, but Snap will beat GD most times.

I see some chinese people with home running dropcatchers who get some low quality LLLL.coms before snap does. These aren't the names snap drops after they dont sell at auction, but names straight from the drop.

I guess snapnames doesn't put much power into those low quality names, and uses more servers for the high quality names.

What percentage would you say are being snagged privately? Even with Snap on low power, I would imagine they'd still be tough to beat. The private catchers must be using very fast API's. I would still expect GoDaddy to beat a private catcher most times so I'll try a few backorders. It's interesting about the Chinese. I've noticed that the vast majority of Chinese premium (no AEIOUV) LLLL.com domains at Snap public auction with $9 starting bids end up being sold, even with multiple 'bad' letters that would make them hard to sell at reg. fee to other resellers.

Edit: lists updated. Only 18 available domains now, all from the 300 drop on 18th Sep. They are slowly trickling away.

I think this is just a couple domains, the majority goes to snap and a few to tdnam. There's happening a lot in china at the moment, of which I don't have a clear view, its interesting tho! Maybe they'll start their own dropcatching companies in a while. :O

10 still available to register :hehe:

---------- Post added at 05:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:40 PM ----------

Update: All remaining LLLL.coms have been taken.
Not yet...

Edit: The same 10 domains were still available when checked at 23:45 BST. No grace deletes showed up in a deep scan which completed at about the same time. Tomorrow's drop is likely to be very small so there's a good chance they'll all trickle away soon - for the time being at least.

pvqu.com was registered, leaving just 9 remaining (until the small number of Tuesday drops hit):

jqvx.com
qmyv.com
qxvg.com
qzpv.com
uqsj.com
uqwv.com
vdqw.com
vhqr.com
vwkq.com

All contain a 'q', and all except uqsj contain a 'v' as well. The buyout is less than $75 in registration fees from being restored.

In my view it is getting more embarassing by the day, and just shows how weak this is. People can probably be thankful not a lot have dropped in the last couple of days though that will temporary.

Like I said earlier, the LLLL.com market is probably getting the most support now that the buyout has recently broke than it is going to get in coming months when people get used to that fact.

Snoop, do you still expect quads to hit $50, and if yes, within what time frame?

He is not going to answer, for him the low end and all the other LLLL.com's are in one bracket, and he would need to accept the fact that the all premiums are on the rise since 2 months now, which is much more important generally than even a few thousand of the low end being unregged that was not worth more than $1 before either.
