Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

LLLLsales reports 82 sales of quad premium names for July. Only two of these are below $99 (one of them sold at ebay, which is not a common venue for quads). Since July 17 there is no sale reported below $99. Based on these data I stand by my opinion that the minimum is around $100 (or $99 if you want to be more precise).

Either one can make up long winded excuses or deal with reality.

I've also noticed fewer quads available in the market in recent days and increased interest (number of bidders) to buy them.

Yawn....the record is broken on this line.

I don't think so. According to llllsales and my own observations in several venues, the minimum for quads is around $100 at this moment. There were a few below this in the last 30 days, but the majority are well above the minimum.

It really depend who is the seller.

I remember a seller selling in this forum so-called premium quad LLLL for $20. Its a rare case but it doesnt mean its wrong. And now there is a premium quad LLLL going for $100 and no one took it.

IMO, not all premium letters are good in end users sale for LLLL.

And i feel that the so-called premium quad LLLL are overated in terms of price.

Here's a graph I threw together for the quad argument. Hopefully we are seeing an upward trend coming.

However I did not receive a $50 offer on OPPB in days of offering it.

And it's a 1998 domain.

I'm skeptical about trying to draw 'trends' about specific kinds of domain sales. Now let's say the average price increases by $10 over a given month, does that make any difference to your bottom line ?

Not really. I would say if the averages gained $10 every month for a year, now that might mean something. There are too many variables in the domain world to find an accurate price for anything. I see crap names sell all the time for $XXXX. I just like posting facts so everyone's on the same page.

I mean, so many domain sales are one of a kind, it's not like commodities such as gold, oil or wheat. They are much less constant and predictable.

As far as commodity like names, LLLL.com and LLL.com is about as close are you will ever get for the average and lower quality stuff.

My team and I have just spent several days going over the data.

Based on my analysis, the LLLL market is on the verge of total collapse. If you will take the time to review this thread, you will see that we were the first to predict the buyout failure months before it happened. Take that for what it's worth!!

Take your losses NOW and head for the hills. It's about to get very ugly.

Hard to see any sudden changes in the market personally, my own view is that we'll continue to see lacklustre performance and losses from registration fee erosion. The market has been bad for two and a half years and in many respects the lower ends of the market have already seen "total collapse" in terms of of people paying renewals on names that are't even worth the value of the renewal.

So I'd ask you the follow questions,

-Why do you think the market is "on the verge of total collapse" now?
-What is going to trigger this collapse?
-What timeframe have you put on this prediction?

I'll buy all your CVCV and VCVC for $10 each then, no need to thank me.

Same old nonsense, if he owned any and was selling he'd probably sell them for market price via auction or on the forums. The fact that you are offering reg fee probably says a lot though.

He can do whatever he likes and I can offer whatever I like.

I don't have a problem in admitting that some of my forecasts were wrong but you are here just to remind us that each day or you got another task hidden somewhere?

Fact is, they worth much more than reg fee, that's why he does not have any to sell me at that price.
