Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

Dangit Jeremy I wish you would have let us know.. I wanted some of those names!.. $10 for NIPW, come on :bah: ... must not have been many bidders on at that time. At least PSKO did fairly well for ya.

Ummm.....I had my LLLL's in my sig for 3 days and posted all over this forum. Triples with W and U sell all day on Namejet for $69 and I can't even muster $20....it's about time to cash in the rest and be done with this niche. My other domains do well, but this sh!t is for the birds.

Well maybe cash them in to me, I am one of those birds who are still buying and sticking with this niche.

I have got an offer on my premium letters high traffic LLLL.com, if I calculate annual sedopro parking revenue to offered price, it will be 6% p.a.

Parking revenue was roughly same over the last two years on annual basis.

The buyer is currently reluctant to increase the offered price (I am asking several times more). On another hand I am not in a hurry to sell. What would you do in this case?

PS
Offered price is very low $x,xxx

I don't have a problem in admitting that some of my forecasts were wrong but you are here just to remind us that each day or you got another task hidden somewhere?

It seem you do have a problem with it since the discussion topic has nothing to do with your past forecasts being wrong, but if you want to start talking about it that is your own choice.

Ironic given the point of discussion in the thread.

I applaud you for standing up and changing your position on these names.

The truth has a strange way of always appearing when you least expect it. I think it wise to embrace the truth as the truth will set you free. IMO.
The truth is in the pudding..

When the small guys are shaken, the pros are moving in.
You noticed couple of the big very experienced companies kept buying at snapnames today, and got good deals.

This is not new though its been going on for two years in terms of price declines and/or people losing simply through continuing to pay renewals on basically worthless names.

Would be interesting to know who the people you are talking about are, what they bought, and what they paid. I think the more experienced domainers buy these names based on potential usage/resale etc, not because they are 4 letter .com's, that precludes a very large number of the LLLL.com's in domainers hands which are nothing more than trading chips.

Well that is not THE truth, just part of the truth ;)
Also, I would rather see the sales happening to us but it's always the 'others' :lala:

There are a number of factors in achieving higher sales but the most important ones are:

1) exposing the items to a larger and wealthier pool of bidders (ebay , namepros and sedo seem to attract the cheap domainers only)

2) hard selling tactics pay in the long term, registrants who do not need money can wait and some have been rewarded nicely, others failed to make a profit because they were not proactive

I agree that luck is also important but if you hope in luck only, you better play lotto.
