I can`t really keep track of all the arguments you guys are posting so since I`m trying to answer to all of your doubts/arguments/criticism and I`m putting all of the most valide arguments in one Blog post here:

http://www.italiandragon.com/?p=59

I invite all LLLL.com naysaysers/un-believers/undecided or whatever you like to call yourself

to post here your arguments on WHY the LLLL.com

1) won`t grow in value till reaching AT LEAST 1/26 of their similar LLL.com

2) won`t grow at stronger % compared to LLL.com

3) won`t stay ALL REGGED

4) won`t get more and more worldwide visitors and/or buyers

5) etc.

Please: this is a serious thread, I`m serious at doing business and this is big business. Do not post just to post.

Thank you

I think a land rush analogy is far far better than a stocks analogy.

People like me who think that 4 character domains have a long, long way to go before they become overpriced, have made a business decision to invest.

We believe in our own instincts and we put our money on the table. We have followed our instinct - sometimes you have to do that in business. There are no cast iron guarantees in this! Its pointless arguing - no one knows whats around the corner.

The key to not being a naysayer in anything is proceeding with a little foresight. There is plenty of talk of the dot com crash and the dumping of domain names because people didn't have the foresight to hold their stock and hang tough with their investment. I have reg'd a number of llll.com at reg fee and continue to buy into the 100's for some good ones. I figured out what it is for me that is attractive. It is the number that keeps getting to me. 456,000. That number seems big but in reality it is globally miniscule. 456,000. There may be that many pizza places in Manhattan. And that is even more limited number when thinking global business acronyms. With India and China just emerging in the online marketplace it seems that even the 1/26 figure is just misguided as overall value IMO will go up. Even blow up. Try 500-2000 a piece.

We all have ideas or "glasses" we wear that keep us from seeing things in a different perspective. Even when Frank Schilling talks about only 7-12 % of domains being meaningful to somebody and being worthwhile he is seeing things through an elite domainer's glasses.

The graph of lll.com is the most telling. Who wouldn't want as many of those in 2001 as they could afford?
