We need this one too guys :)

This guide will also help LLLL.com holders to understand more the value of their 4 letters .com based on how expensive the similar 3 letters .com are.

From:

http://3character.com/priceguide.html

Pricing Guide for 3-Letter (Composed Of Letters Only) Domains:

Current Observed Minimum Wholesale Price (regardless of letter combo) as of February 1, 2008:

3-Letter .com - $6700 (+ $300 since January 1, 2008 report)

But I consider their guide a bit old since they are not taking in consideration the emergenging countries that appreciate other letters and as we have run a poll here several times lately, the majority of people consider the letters U
and W to be Premium letters.

Let`s have a look at some recent LLL.com sales as reported from NameBio.com :

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
at that time there was no distinction between chinese premium and non-premium. since then the spread between premium and non-premium has always stayed, inexplicable, high in the LLLL.com segment

I would not say always.

Just couple of years ago, when random LLL.com could sell for around $6K, the random LLLL.com price of $20-100 was valued correctly under the method, when adjusted for the PV of renewals.

And LL.com used to sell for High 5 figure low 6 figure,

I got an LLL .com and then wanting a LL .com but couldn't get a loan -_-

nfr.com was sold in 2009-04-28 for $12,322 at Namejet when it expired.

It belonged to CheckPoint which seems to have requested the domain back from Network Solutions. It was one of the rare times I saw Network Solutions giving back an expired domain that was placed on auction. I guess money talks...

the domain has stayed with CheckPoint and recently it seems to have been acquired by BrokerageFirm which has an operating signature of placing the DNS pointing to ROOKDNS. it is not a sure thing but it is a pattern.

the additional interest in this sale is that these guys are currently letting several domains that they are acquiring retain the whois information from the previous owner, hiding their moves, in a similar fashion that some chinese high rollers are keeping 4.cn/GoldenName/Midai whois information when buying domains through them.

Thanks for the info.
@ $33,600 its a very good buy in deed, a premium letter LLL.com is being traded at +/- 50k.
