I don't really remember a time when domain names starting with "the" got much love but themortgage was sold with half a million back in 2000, one of the leading blogs in this industry is thedomains ... so it was ok until the famous drop the "the" in 2010, since then i never got a single offer for my "the" domains.
After Mike Mann said "the" domains are hot I got seven low ball offers for this kind of names, six of them for a single domain (theinfographics), two of the domains that I've dropped (years ago) got registered in the last month or so, and now I see that thestrategist sold for 16000.
That really makes me wonder. I can find a logical explanation for CHIPS, for .io, for .cc for many bulls**t, but I can't find a good one for this.
I just watch and wait for the moment when dot info will be hot or hyphenated will be hot or hyphenated dot info will be hot.
But dude, it's a self adaptive system ... no, is not, it's human centipede.
<end of pointless rant>
