Hmm..well I suppose that's one way to look at it. And it really would make sense. Unless, you know the truth. The truth is, in fact, these conglomerates have tailored US to THEM.

But perhaps, it is a case of both sucking and blowing.

Whatever the case, I fixed the mobile issue. It was a change in font size in the main heading. Can't believe it would change everything. Will continue to fine-tune now that that's out of the way.

I know that smarter people than me keep track of mobile phone users.
Hey, so many went here, spent this amount of time, then went here, spent some time, then went back to facebook, spent time, blah blah blah.
I do believe though, from those around me, that they go go sites that they see advertised around them, from facebook, or a link passed around. Most though have certain sites they go to almost daily.
But since most in the circle here have real jobs, plus families, time spent on phones, computers...is less than probably those who have shit to do all day long but look at their phones.
Always wondered why people bother going out for food and drinks if they spend all that time on phones...not interacting with those they are with (check out next time you go to a restaurant or drinking establishment).

Someone has my number for sure....when it comes to my blog, traffic, mobile, postings, etc. I really DNGAF!
Get so many uniques per day, come rain or shine.
I see how many visits each post gets per day...etc etc etc.

Briguy, I was okay on DKA....but not by much....
Probably be back at my doctor next week or so as again, sugars move up and move down, regardless of what I ingest.
Go from 150 to 250 in 3 hours, when I have had nothing to eat or drink except water.
Then bam, from 250 down to 120 after I have a good meal (right now, because of the levels going up and down so much, I eat as I please).
Doctor yesterday told me to just keep track of the levels and he would come up with something to level it all out.

That always confused me about the USA. Why can you buy tickets like "Powerball" but not sports! I look at lotteries like PowerBall as.a form of gambling like "Keno"..

re. mobiles/cell phones.. most folk don't own/ ever used desktops, they wouldn't know otherwise. Thing with mobiles, is they take away your attention from everything you do ALL day long, no matter who you're with or the activity you do. Whether a birthday party with the kids, in the grocery store, in the car or at the park or at work, people can't handle computing in their hands. Basically it makes everyone into an addictive personality. What's worse is that families across the country have given their kids phones too.

It's seriously out of control. The thing with desktops is, your either using it or your not. When you're not, you're truly experiencing the moment of what you are doing. As dawg stated. Walk into any restaurant, and you see the zombies.

I truly hope we move AWAY from mobiles. Athough Enly says mobile usage is on the rise, and it has been on the rise year over year really, I hope we come to the realization the mobiles should be merely a specialized tool at best for certain functions, not a multi-purpose catch-all for all aspects of life. This is where the danger lies.

Those other games I might not be good at. NFL betting, easy. Yeah, it's partly what johname mentioned, some states are worried they'll lose some money. They don't want to lose those lotto funds. But I don't play lotto.

Forgot about dog racing, we have greyhound racing down here. Used to go to those with a roommate back in the day. Then I figured something out. The longer races, the inside dogs won more often. When humans race around the track, they stagger them. They don't do that with dogs.

Yes Muskoka's is mainly upper crust..not sure about today but Goldie Hawn/Kurt Russell had a residence there among other "rich and famous"
