Yea fundamentals are great, market moving. Trading all about timing, perception, understanding human emotion, their thresholds. No matter the fundamentals it's human emotion that usually moves markets in short-midterm. The main things to understand about bitcoin is the types of people whom have how many. How likely is it for these, and new people to invest more, or sell some. Then, one other important thing, what threatens bitcoin, you must be aware of challenges too. Don't wear rose-colored glasses. You can time these human emotional driven moves with experience, if you are aware of the fundamentals and set your own emotions aside. The age old fear and greed are the main driving factors. I can expand on that, you need a feel for group-think conviction and investor patience. It's a factor of many things, which could fill a book.
Aside from the idea of bitcoin itself, there are many outside factors that drive the price too. Sometimes unforeseen, called a backswan. although bitcoin is mature enough that these factors play lesser role than past. ETF approval, or denial for example. The more something happens or not while people are expecting one way or another, the less it matters.
I like other coins WAY more than btc, but btc is still leading them, and I don't see that ending anytime within the next year. Can't wait for the de-coupling, that will be a great day for crypto investors.
