Generally, people in crypto don't care at all about domains. Altcoins like alt extensions.

Don't invest in alternative extensions for crypto domains, they are only willing to pay reg fee.

I sold a killer .com in the crypto space but those kinds of things are exception rather than the rule.

Not true and it doesn’t matter. You don’t visit these websites, they’re just for project info. All other communication and financial transactions are handled via outside forums and exchanges.

Nobody goes to ethereum.com or bitcoin.com to trade the coins. You use poloniex, bittrex, Coinbase...

It doesn't bother me who uses what, i have 2 little .com domains perfect for advice and comparison sites. I think this is where the market is for .com's, not the brandable path....

I would not go registering keyword+Coin domains in .com , but Crypto+keyword is a broad term that covers everything crypto......perfect for the .com
