I hope you don't take offense that I am picking on your comment, but I don't understand why some people are so critical of anybody promoting or generating any additional awareness to the dot tv brand. It does nothing for the extension and gives other people a false sense of confidence that comments like this help the dot tv community on Name pros or the dot tv brand; two efforts that I think every dot tv member should applaud.

If you must critique, I suggest doing so in a more professional manner, such as, "I think the logo could be improved by..." or "I feel like the logo doesn't grab your attention or leave a positive impression because..."

Nobody has to agree with you, but if you got the opportunity to meet this man in person you would be better served to make the latter comments than the one you made (assuming you had to be critical).

While I know humor has its place on forums, I felt that as a developer I had to respond. Please take no personal offense as none was intended.

For the record, I think the logo could be improved by adding a little more style. Since the purpose of the website involves Hollywood celebrities, the website's logo should project Hollywood style. At the moment, it does not in my opinion.

Sniping must stop - including from me - if we are to encourage others that .TV is a viable extension for all things televisual.

We need to encourage the people who promote TV - not shoot them down.

I had lunch with Sheeraz Hasan and others last year in LA and he is a very nice person. Whether people agree with him or not, his publicity of .tv
is great for all of us.

agree 100% with Allthings.Tv and yet who am I talk??!!

I have come to the conclusion that not everything will ever go the way I want it too with .tv promotion, but to be content with the efforts of guys like Sheeraz, even Owen Frager whom I Have a big problem getting to grips with his real motives due to such a 360 turn on his attitute towards .tv on an almost daily basis....

Bottom line I should be greatful for every little bit of promo - even Niko with this expo - whom I had my run ins with......bottom line, no one can question Nikos or Sheerazes love for the ext - so that is definately one thing we all have in common.......

I have major issues witht RR, only because he is getting paid to promote the ext - where that promotion has been over the last 12 months is anyones guess......if its beeen with a call centre of people phoning up major corps to invest in .tv - then my apologies for some of the recent comments I made

i think with time, all the recent arguments and fallouts between geo owners will also melt away as we realise that we are all in a different boat heading towards the same destination.......profitable domaining and development in the .tv extension

Thanks, it looks like he "may" be working on a new website (i hope) on Dubai.TV - It says Launches Fall 2008.

I'm sure he's a very nice guy and as others have mentioned he is doing good things by promoting the .tv extension in the media.

Dubai.TV would be my number one domain of choice...other than the .com :hehe:
