thanks for sharing, I did not know about any of the other devices being launched other than google.tv

just from reading seems like the roku only does basic features like netflix, hulu, and other forms of movie steaming services.

Apple.tv seems to be priced cheap to attract the general buyers, they will feature the apple store and a new movie marketplace that allow movie purchases for one day rentals for $1.00 movie apps - Do you really want apple to have that much restriction on your box?

Google.tv is where it's at! Allowing Users to develop applications with the google.tv dev kit, this will open a whole new marketplace for tv apps,

for example, you can download a free or $.99 application for google.tv that will allow you to test your surround sound system. I recall these surround sound test disc cost $14.99 and more.

First no one believed they will enter the mobile market, Then no one thought they would enter the TV market, What are they trying to dominate next?

Incorporate a graphics card and video game companies will work with Google to release games through google.tv for $9.99-$19.99 - this will eliminate the need for video game consoles and video game sales.
