After a fantastic two days of charity auctions, Alot of money was raised to help the fight on cancer, "Morphmaster" organised the auction, as he did the same last year, Morphmaster has a heart of gold, And worked very hard to make this happen, Most of us will be affected by cancer one way or the other, 1 in 3 people get cancer, statistics show, It was an awesome two days! My mom passed last may 4th of cancer, My dad was diagnosed with uncurable small lung cancer just three months ago, Cancer is a non forgiving illness, And at a 1 to 3 ratio, Most are assured to be affected in one way or the other, It was an awesome two days of auctions, I know Morphmaster and RJ are extremly tired, They worked until they were to tired to work anymore, Thank you Morphmaster, RJ, and Polurnet. I encourage all of you to purchase charity ribbons when you can, NamePros supports many charities, You can purchase the charity ribbons at the top of the forum, Just click NP$ store, Then charity ribbons, The support for this years auction was overwhelming, It was absolutly fantastic! and my condolences.

I can safely say that most people have either lost a friend or a relative to cancer, and by things such as these charity events, we can all make a difference. Whether it be to those who we have lost, or those that we will never know, but live in a constant battle with cancer.

For that, I feel that morphmaster, NPQueen, Polurnet and -RJ- are excellent ambassadors to that fact that anyone can selflessly help others.

Thank you to them, and thank you to all the people who took part and donated - whether you bought something or not. I was there on the night, and the atmosphere was truly wonderful. It really was a time for giving and donating, without greed and lust for benefit. Something, that unfortunately in our current world, is diminishing rapidly.

Thanks for the post John, I'm certain both Morph and RJ are thrilled about how things turned out as well, with many funds going toward a great cause. It isn't possible to have a successful event without the overwhelming community support, so congratulations to everyone who took the time to participate and contribute during this event... please keep up the good work!

Thx all. Fab effort, what was the total tally? Day one had raised about $4k. Day $2 is not known. Silent auction is still not closed?

What really gave me a kick was the way people (who are generally supposed to be blood sucking capitalists) display hearts of gold. People were giving away stuff they would not normally and bidders were out bidding themselves (bigturnip and domainbell).

I mean an LLL.info and A week in Greece! This was amazing, great job all.

I will be totting up the grand total raised after all donations and payments for donated lots as soon as i possibly can - payments are still trickling in.

Event wouldn't of been possible without EVERYONE who attended the auction EVERYONE that bid and EVERYONE who donated alot.
