I got an e-mail from Fabulous reminding me that some of my names that I had parked with them were about to expire. They weren't even registered @ Fab, but at a WWD reseller.

Good thing, as they expired today and I would not have seen them otherwise.

I'm not surprised you didn't get good notification from your own registrar, GD would have probably made out pretty well in the auction on those.

It's amazing to me how GD can openly condemn 'kiting' to the point that it is obsessive while constantly kiting their own customer's domains before they have even left redemption.

They don't accept everyone. You have to have a fair size portfolio of a couple hundred names and/or a pretty good good traffic count to get the portfolio management there.

Several other registrars provide this helpful service. I get e-mailed 60, 30, 15, 10, 5, next day and "now expired" notices on domains nearing expiration through Wild West.

Fabulous are great for this, when you own hundreds of names its hard to keep track sometimes but having a parking program remind you is very handy.

As these domains are registered outside of Fabulous we do not have the expiry information readily available. However, we are periodically updating our database, to help provide prompt notifications.

As long as your are listening to suggestions...

It would ge nice if when we log into our account and do manual expiry checks, that we could update a whole page at once or do all in the portfolio weekly automatically instead of having to click the update button for each domain individually and wiat forthe popup box checker to update the record. I usually check week to a couple months ahead

I love the portfolio managemet. It helps me out greatly. It can be a little tedious for lots of domains though.

I could also thow you some more business if you did .us and .biz domains directly, and/or had a competetive reseller business for new registrations.

Thanks for your comments AdoptableDomains. I've just sent them through to my manager and the tech department for review.

In the meantime, you can perform bulk renewals in your account by clicking on the Manage > Renewals link in your account. Here you can renew up to 500 domains at a time.

Also, we now have an Auto-Renewal feature which you may find useful.
