TDNAM expired domain auction

I have won Gain WEB . org, Created On:04-Jan-1997; PR3 and a rich archive.org history
My question is: When GoDaddy will transfer it to me, will the creation date remain the same?

You will get the domain in 2 weeks, the date is located in your tdnam "Won" tab. The creation date will remain the same.

But TDNAM/GoDaddy will backdate the registration to it's redemption period.

Even though you just paid for the new registration by you becoming the new owner, look at the domain expiration date when you get it. About 42 days already taken off. In other words, your newly registered dropped domain will only have about 10 1/2 months on it before you have to renew again.

Kinda funny, huh?

Nice littel racket tdnam and GoDaddy has going on. You are essentially paying for the previous owner's redemption period.

Circa it's not only happening at GoDaddy, it happens every where.

I won wwwfastloan . com in January at SnapNames, it will expire on 10 Dec.
