TDNAM Buyer doesn't pay....

Hi...I have a problem and i'd like to know if someone had in the past some similar experience.

After a week of negotiation with a bidder for one of my domain names on tdnam,we agreed on 100$(i know the amount is small,but hey...it's still money...)

I accepted his offer,but now the guy doesn't pay.(it's almost a week...)

I sent an email to tdnam,and they told he is OBLIGED to pay...
However,what happens if he keeps ignoring me and tdnam stuff?

Had anyone had a similar experience?

I have never had a non-payer,
I've had late payers - TDNAM contacted
them and then they paid right away.

Maybe it's a long weekend where they are
and he's away

Paragraph 1 of the purchase acknowledgement states:

I am responsible for payment within 48 hours of auction close, or the form of payment I used to purchase my TDNAM membership will be charged on the third day following the auction close.

Yet when I've had non-paying Buyers, TDNAM told me the Buyer had up to 7 days to pay before I could relist the item.

I would call TDNAM and ask them if they received payment on the 3rd day in accordance to the terms in their acknowledgement.

A side question, what about in Sedo, what happens there if the guy doesnt pay?

That's what should happen, but I've had to contact TDNAM numerous times regarding non-paying Buyers and that's the response they gave me

What's being discussed here actually happens every other day other than just
domain names. Cars, computers, you name it, someone backs out (or at least
tries to) after reaching an agreement with the other party.

Years ago a friend agreed to buy my old digital diary (yup, that old) from me.
He never came through, but I personally didn't see it worthwhile to nag him on
it.

If the other party doesn't reply by then, it's really up to you to decide on your
own if it's worth pursuing a $100+ matter or not.

Hi,

That has happened to me at SEDO.

Nothing happens really.

Sedo may or may not cancel the buyer's account.

Sedo will provide the Buyer's info if you want to try
and seek a legal remedy to force compliance.

Unfortunately, I have heard a lot of stories about people bidding up on TDNAM and not buying... and Godaddy doesn't enforce their rules at all. So sellers are left in the cold for the most part it seems.
